Excellent restaurant, typical Sicilian cuisine, lots of local customers. The service is professional and friendly, sometimes a little slow when they have large groups. We have dined there several times, always very satisfied with our meals (risottos, pasta, seafood); in our opinion, it's one of the best restaurants in the area.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I ate divinely at Egesta Mare! Michele and Salvatore, two brothers (one in the dining room and the other in the kitchen), truly know how to make you feel at home, treating you with kid gloves and always with a smile. 🌞 When a good bond is formed, a complimentary glass of amaro or an extra portion of their signature dishes is always a must... small gestures that make all the difference and express their passion for Sicilian hospitality. I stayed in Castellammare for five days and returned to dinner there five times: every night was an unforgettable experience, the best of my entire Sicilian tour! 🇮🇹🍋 Memorable dishes: the Black Widow, the Sicilian cassata, the busiate, the XL cannoli, and the best caponata I've ever tasted. Everything was perfect, from the first bite to the last toast. Finding a restaurant like this was a true luxury for my family and I and made our stay in Sicily even more special. Classy restaurant, top quality products cooked divinely

Located in the center of Castellammare, very cute both inside and out. Excellent food and service 👏👏

What a lovely evening we spent at this establishment. Among other things, we had a fish couscous, perhaps the best in the region, very generous (with lots of fish, which is a change from the local restaurants), wonderfully good, served by kind and dedicated staff.

Truly the best fish couscous I've ever eaten. Hearty, with large pieces of fish, excellent, and unrivaled value for money (€16), served by courteous and dedicated staff.

In Sicily in October, we didn't encounter any of the issues others reported regarding timing and reservations. They very kindly found us a table and we were able to dine without a reservation (though reservations are recommended). We ate very well, assisted by a waiter who gave us valuable suggestions and also informed us about the abundance of dishes. A fish couscous, tomato and eggplant busiate pasta, a breaded Palermo-style roast, and a cabbage split in two—all truly delicious in a warm and pleasant atmosphere. The price was absolutely fair, and at the counter, the owner offered us a truly exceptional flavored Marsala. Perfect for a couples' evening.

Volevo provare il cous cous e ho scelto questo ristorante molto carino ( sia dentro che fuori) Cameriere gentilissimo Ho preso il cous cous di pesce. Molto buono. Purtroppo non ho assaggiato altri piatti ( sembravano molto invitanti) spero di tornare per poterli gustare. Prezzi contenuti. Anche il titolare molto gentile, attento e cordiale Da provare!

Das Restaurant ist besonders bei Italienern sehr beliebt. Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet und die Preise sind angemessen. Die Portionen fallen allerdings eher klein aus. Der Service wirkt wenig engagiert und spricht kaum Englisch, was die Verständigung erschwert.
