Great place for breakfast. The croissants and bread are delicious. Highly recommended and worth a try. It's very popular, so it can be hard to find a seat.

Everything was truly delicious. The croissants were delicious, and the pain au chocolat even more so. Fair prices.

The panettone wasn't very leavened. It's a shame because they're very good at boulangerie level. The place is reminiscent of a French boulangerie. The sweet and savory products are very good, but the service is a bit slow, which is probably normal since it's a Sunday morning.

A top-notch breakfast! The brioche is spectacular: fragrant and fresh. The place offers an impressive variety of pastries and breads. It's understandably crowded, especially on weekends. Tip: Given the cold season, I recommend arriving early in the morning, otherwise it will be difficult to find a seat inside. Negative Note (Point of Criticism): I encountered a hygiene issue near the register: there were open paper bags on the floor containing baguettes. Since lines form, I noticed people with dogs letting their pets nose into these bags, which I find absolutely unhygienic and needs to be reconsidered. The Price: We spent €7.80 for two cappuccinos and two brioches. Conclusion: A reasonable price, considering the quality. For the brioche, it's definitely worth making an exception!

Average breakfast. Four of us went to this place on a Saturday morning in late November, around 10:00. The place is quite large, but quite chaotic; between the register, tray pick-up, and take-out, there's a lot of traffic. To eat inside, you first have to get a receipt, then find a table yourself and go pick up your tray when the disc they give you rings. We found a table shortly after getting the receipt, but the larger the group, the more difficult it becomes. The selection is wide, but the quality isn't amazing. The products, mostly typical French, are good, but average. Prices are medium-high. Ultimately, there wasn't a single detail that really caught my attention. What a shame.

A little bakery we found which was open on Sunday very early. As a tourist I was surprised to be asked to go out after I didn't see that they open in 6 minutes, but not asked to sit down inside and wait. Anyway, regarding the breakfast offerings, they mostly consisted of sweet items such as croissants, roll croissants, and others containing noisette, chocolate, and pistachio. The service was friendly enough, though perhaps not extremely attentive, and the prices seemed a bit higher than expected. Even though I found what I got to be absolutely delicious, I do want to mention that it might be a bit too sweet for some people's preferences, so be mindful of that.

Upon arriving at Egalité, I first carefully examined the display case and saw a wide selection still available, even late in the afternoon, which was appreciated. My gaze fell upon the chocolate croissants. They were large, shiny, perfectly flaky, and truly mouthwatering. I was immediately tempted and offered to share one with my friend. But the one we were ultimately brought was nothing like the ones I had seen. It was noticeably smaller, less shiny, and looked less fresh. I still took a small bite of the inside to form my own opinion. It was good, but not what I had chosen based on the display case. Unsold items are for TooGoodToGo baskets, not for direct service in the restaurant. Why not sell the best-looking ones if they're available? The cappuccino was good, well-prepared, but nothing special. It lacked sweetness and even latte art to perfect it. We also tried the traditional baguette, which looked nicely browned, but unfortunately, unsurprisingly, it was far too overcooked. A perfect baguette is "not too cooked," or a little more cooked than it should be, not like a baseball bat. My girlfriend insisted we order it. The pastries are numerous and attractive, but the tarts were less impressive. The pastry was slightly undercooked, and they were quite small for the price. The tarte tatin also lacked pastry, which detracted from its appeal. Overall, there's real skill at Egalité, especially with the pastries, but a little more attention to the freshness of the ingredients and the baking would really make a difference.

I had breakfast here this morning and really enjoyed it. The products are very good, with a wide selection of both sweet and savory options. The atmosphere is refined and relaxing. A truly lovely place to stop for a bite to eat and spend some time relaxing. Recommended!
