You pay for the cutlery service. The water they serve isn't tap water, it's bottled, and they charge €3. We ordered two dishes, paying €47 in total. They open at 12:00, so we went early and waited to get in.

Genuinely the best meal of the whole trip!! Such an authentic italian family meal. Everything tastes so fresh and homemade. Not touristy at all. Such a hidden gem. 100000% recommend. A must try when in Rome. The gnocchi and carbonara were to die for.

Not only for the food, which was really high quality. But above all for the kindness and patience.

If you're looking for a traditional Italian restaurant that serves authentic Roman food, I highly recommend this place. I have dined here many times over the years, and the quality of the food and the wonderful atmosphere have consistently impressed me. Be sure to make a reservation for lunch or dinner, as they can get busy. They also have a few tables available outside.

Excelente primera cena en Roma! Pedimos un vino siciliano que maridó perfecto con nuestra cena. Nunca habíamos probado la ensalada (arúgula, tomate, espárragos, mozzarella y papa cocida con vinagreta), y nos ENCANTÓ. Mi marido pidió unas escalopas de tagliata di manzo y yo un risotto fruti di mare deliciosos. Al final, strudel de manzana. Volveríamos, seguramente! El restaurante, lleno al tope, y aún así, excelente servicio. Gracias por tratar bien a unos recién llegados del "nuevo" continente.
