We will never forget our stay in this magnificent place! The location is quite good, between Mount Etna, Isola Bella, and the Alcantara Gorge. The staff is helpful and friendly. The breakfast is plentiful. The dinner menu offers healthy and varied dishes. There is also a swimming pool and a reading area. While the Wi-Fi doesn't work in the rooms, it is available in the breakfast and dinner areas. This is a minor inconvenience compared to the overall experience. I highly recommend it.

The accommodation is beautifully landscaped. The room is clean and spacious. Tanja is very friendly and helpful at breakfast. She also speaks German. As a German, you'll need plenty of time at the restaurant. From appetizer to main course, it takes 1.5 hours. They said that's normal in Sicily. 🤔 We'll see, we'll try a different restaurant tomorrow.

A great Sicilian spot; it was even a filming location for The Godfather: that's how worth the trip! The staff is lovely, the tomato pasta is the best I've ever eaten, and the rooms are relaxing and spotlessly clean. I recommend this peaceful place if you want to relax and simply feel good 🥰

If you're staying in the area and want to be close to Taormina and Mount Etna, this hotel is the best in the region. We were welcomed into a beautiful location, with an idyllic, calm, and relaxing setting. The gardens are extremely well-maintained, and the pool is large and very pleasant. In terms of amenities, the rooms are perfect, very comfortable, and above all, very clean. Breakfast is complete, and you can enjoy lunch or dinner à la carte. Local products are served, cooked on-site. A real delight. In addition, the bar is open all day, so you can enjoy the sunshine with cocktails. We had a wonderful stay. Many thanks to Tania for her recommendations and to the entire team for their fabulous work.

A delightful and relaxing weekend immersed in nature. A great location for a quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle of nearby towns like Giardini Naxos and Taormina, which are easily reached by car. Kudos to the pumpkin ravioli with arugula pesto, truly delicious, but absolutely everything on the menu was delicious 🥰👏

08/01/2026: I often go to dinner with my kids. For an all-you-can-eat restaurant, it's not bad at all. I'm sorry that instead of an age limit for the children's menu, they've put a height limit... I find it quite discriminatory. Does a tall child eat more than a short one? Another sore point: some waiters have a really unpleasant odor. I understand that people sweat while working, but deodorant is an option. In short... a rather conflicting opinion.
30/12/2025: Super restaurant! Excellent food and very friendly staff! Highly recommended! We'll be back regularly!

Ristorante il Grande Pino

17/08/2025: The location is truly beautiful and well-kept: it's a real shame to find the weather bad on August 15th and not eat outside. The fish is fresh, certainly well-frozen and of high quality, but it's prepared without imagination, without that special something that makes you remember it. With two bottles of wine, appetizers, and a first course, we spent €50 per person (considering we had three small children). Dessert needs rethinking: the flans are fine, but the crème brulee and freshly defrosted cheesecake aren't up to par with the place, and especially the bill. The service is truly lame (missing menus, endless waits for dessert, lack of coordination, sloppiness). There's no parking: you have to park in the middle of the street. I don't think we'll be back.
