A very well-kept (and instagrammable) place and gives a touch of light to the whole of Sappada with the many light bulbs that decorate the large outdoor area, bright when the sun is shining and well equipped even for bad weather (roofs and awnings for the rain and pillars with fires that heat the tables outside).
I must also say that it is very clean as well as a feast for the eyes, both at the counter level and the tables or the toilet (with beautiful mirrors among other things, compliments).
All accompanied by light music that creates a lot of atmosphere.
Spacious, original and creative menu... I don't eat meat and I only tasted a few things but I was shocked every time, the chefs are good;)
The vegetarian "ham" burger is highly recommended with a mix of flavors that really activates every cell of the brain despite being very balanced.
Another absolute must to try that accompanied every one of my meals at Edelweiss were the fried mushrooms, oh my goodness, never too greasy and crispy to the right degree.
The Sacher cake bubble and the berry cheese cake are also undoubtedly worth tasting, which in addition to being beautiful are also super good.
The types of bread that are placed at the table and the plating are also very particular.
In terms of prices I can honestly say that they are much more than honest for the portions served, you certainly won't leave the edelweiss with an empty stomach even if you don't spend a fortune as often happens in small villages.
Last compliment (but absolutely not least), great staff, friendly, helpful, organized and very kind guys who immediately try to make people feel at ease.
They were all very attentive to the customers' needs (personally I was very stressed out, in particular by the lard in the various desserts or even just in the ice cream wafer and all my requests received a very courteous, documented response).
Impeccable and quick service even during high season, waiters very capable of recommending combinations or dishes in general based on tastes.
Super positive experience, highly recommended place for any kind of event, be it a simple aperitif with friends, a birthday dinner but also a romantic date, there is the atmosphere in every situation when you are at Edelweiss.

We stopped in this restaurant to refresh ourselves from the cold evening, we had some punch and desserts, really excellent. Prices normal for the place and location. Friendly and courteous staff.

We often come to eat at Edelweiss, the place and the guys never disappoint, even in the busiest periods they always manage to find a place for their regular customers, much appreciated.

Nell’ambiente curato in stile shabby si può mangiare rilassati , le cameriere sono gentili e premurose.
La cucina è interessante, qualche tocco moderno con una solida base classica. Ottime le guance di cinghiale col purè.
Squisita la tartar di manzo battuta al coltello.
Bella cantina con tanti metodi classici da abbinare. Anche se abito lontano ci tornerò.

Siamo stati a pranzare domenica in questo ristorante dopo avere prenotato, ottima accoglienza e cibo ottimo . Abbiamo preso come antipasti tartare di cervo, e prosciutto crudo, come primi tortelli con burro e crema di ortica, poi tartare di camoscio e umidità do di cervo. Come dolce millefoglie, croccante di mandorle. Complimenti allo chef ed a tutto il servizio
