Ecchice Roma In Roma

I wandered upon a little gem called Ecchice, and from the moment I stepped inside, Domiano welcomed me as though I were an old friend returning home. Unsure of what to order, I let him guide me to the carbonara— a dish so divine it seemed every strand of pasta had been infused with Ricardo’s (the chef) love and passion. In each bite, I could taste the care he poured into it. A glass of velvety red wine accompanied my meal, smooth and lingering, and then came my very first taste of Crema Catalana. Golden, delicate, and fragrant—it was a soft whisper of sweetness, that words are simply not enough to explain. All the staff were warm and welcoming, each one making me feel not like a guest, but a part of their evening. Around me, locals laughed and lingered, filling the air with the joy of a shared meal. Everything here was a feeling, not just a meal—a moment where food, people, and place came together in perfect harmony. If you ever find yourself nearby, you must seek out this little haven—it’s a memory I’ll keep with me forever.

It's fine for a quiet evening with friends. Average restaurant with some ups and downs in the food. The provola with honey and walnuts is a must-try, the carbonara is excellent (even though I asked for it short and it arrived long)... I highly recommend the meat (at least in my experience). I asked for a tagliata and it arrived whole, medium-rare, but instead it was almost rare, all fat, sinew, and bone.

We were there as a family (tourists from Hamburg, Germany) and were treated very kindly. The food was delicious! We highly recommend this restaurant.

Sono andata a pranzo con la mia mamma in questo ristorante di pesce e ci siamo trovate benissimo. Il pesce era freschissimo e cucinato alla perfezione, ogni piatto era un piacere per il palato. Un grazie speciale a Federica, che ci ha servite con tanta solarità e attenzione: sempre sorridente e disponibile, ha reso la nostra esperienza ancora più piacevole. Torneremo sicuramente!

Localino con pochi tavoli e cucina a vista (piú o meno). Situato in zona non turistica. Difficile trovare parcheggio. Menu corto e questo é un buon segnale. Ho assaggiato i moschardini fritti: buoni ma il piatto troppo abbondante. Lo avrei consigliato per piú persone come assaggio. Scelgo poi il filetto di orata in crosta di patate.
