Very good suppli, multiple people ordered in Italian so it felt like a good local spot, not catered to tourists like a lot of places in Rome, but still tourist friendly with English menu

I tried almost all their supplì, the one I liked the most was the classic one but the others are also very good. I also ate their omelette, which was good too. The manager is really friendly and nice.

The best supplì you can eat in Rome. Roman tradition and innovation in the heart of Testaccio. Excellent quality raw materials and mouth-watering fried foods: the classic supplì but also the cacio e pepe one, the mozzarella in carrozza and the croquettes with real potatoes inside (restaurant kitchens often use potato flour). If you want to have a tasty break or a quick lunch you can't miss it. A visit is a must believe me.

Really nice place where they offer delicious food, the supplì are the best I've ever eaten!!! Excellent, quality products and Roberto is truly knowledgeable and friendly. Super super recommended!!!!

07/02/2025: First time at Divan Japonais at Max's! Well what can I say, I was really satisfied with this place with its welcoming and slightly retro atmosphere. As soon as we sat down we were greeted with some delicious olives flavored with spices, if I'm not mistaken some chips and a glass of aniseed water, I must say very simple but not at all obvious, very refreshing. The quantity of alcohol available, and their quality amazed me a lot. The menu offers a lot of choice, and the cocktails are really good, with a refined flavour. Personally I think it's brilliant to accompany the cocktail with a cruet that allows you to refill the glass. Highly recommended for those who love drinking quality cocktails at fair prices!!!! I will definitely be back!!!!!!

13/01/2025: This place is a hidden gem in heart of Rome! Gabriel went truly above and beyond and was the highlight of our trip to Rome! We only had 3 nights of stay in Rome, and we came to Hi res twice due to Gabriel’s exceptional service! Normally we are all about exploring the new places, but he got us hooked :)) Food and service is not any short of Michelin star!! If I could I would give 6 or 7 stars out of 5! Its been a few month since we visited and our son still asks for Hi-Res every once in a while ! :)
06/01/2025: Quiet night, but incredible food and service at this rooftop hidden gem. The staff was knowledgeable about wines and paired it real nice with the plates. Must try when in Rome.
