Eat In Ivrea

25/06/2025: Sotto la Mole, fixed menu to which we added a bottle of Nebbiolo, excellent meal based on typical dishes. Expert and professional staff but a little too assertive for my taste.

16/06/2025: Excellent restaurant and wine bar in front of the Mole Antonelliana, which offers typical Piedmontese dishes and wines of high quality at an excellent quality/price ratio. We started lunch with two glasses of excellent Roero red wine and a very tasty mixed appetizer of giardiniera, tomino with truffle, veal with tuna sauce, Russian salad and fresh cheese with chili pepper, and continued with two first courses that were nothing short of exquisite: tajarin with donkey sauce soaked in Barolo and Piedmontese agnolotti. Finally, we ended lunch by tasting two delicious desserts made with zabaglione cream and chocolate. Very kind owner and very well-kept place. Highly recommended.
