E Caplèt In Verona

Un locale piccolo vicino a Castelvecchio, arredato con un gusto tutto femminile delle due proprietarie. Cartelle e lavagnette a pubblicizzare i loro prodotti. Ho acquistato i triangoli al parmigiano e gli agnoli al tarturo e stracchino: premetto che sono rimasti in auto circa sei ore senza una borsa termica e, nonostante questo, erano favolosi. Ho seguito il consiglio della proprietaria e li ho conditi solo con un filo di olio e una spolverata di parmigiano. Eccellenti!

The preparations were excellent: I had some truly excellent ravioli with Barolo stew and duck sauce!!! It was Christmas Eve and I hadn't booked: they still made sure to accommodate me!!! Well done!!

Located close to the beautiful Regaste di San Zeno, which offer a unique view towards Castelvecchio, there is this small shop selling fresh pasta and more. In fact, you will find piade and raincress. The choice of fresh pasta and more is superb. Special mention for the lasagna. The ragù are excellent. In short, it's impossible not to try to enter. Helpful and jovial staff.

From our short stay in Verona we brought home as a souvenir some delicious bigoi with duck ragù that we cooked that same evening. Exceptional pasta as equally exceptional was the ragù!!! We will definitely return to E Caplét to shop on our next trip to beautiful Verona! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
