Such a nice place, we got there by mistake but we definitely didn’t regret it. The pasta with clams was delicious, al dente and I enjoyed so much. The service was great and there is this lovely old gentleman which serves street food

Exactly what I was looking for. They offer a mix of various traditional dishes.
Also cheap and good service.
The portions aren't abundant, but that's fine by me.

If your in the area for lunch don't hesitate to have the mix plate. 10 Euro excellent food and value. It just may be the only meal you have all day

Sicilian soul.
We wandered around the market, seeing food stalls with their people clamoring for customers and their dishes, and I still don't know how, but upon arriving at this restaurant (the only one that doesn't shout at you to sit down or give you a taste) we felt the call of the table.
We only ordered a mixed fish dish as a sample of their repertoire, and it left us both satisfied and wanting more. Authentic Sicilian food made with love and soul.

Good, definitely characteristic, being inside the Ortigia market. Generous portions and very fair prices, a first course €13, considering it was a double portion if you wanted. Perhaps the only two small drawbacks are the limited selection if you don't like fish, but we're by the sea, so that's fine, but the fact that they don't serve any dessert is a real shame.

Simple, tasty dishes made with fresh ingredients. I opted for the antipasto misto, and it was a hit. A place I'll gladly return to.
