A fabulous bakery in the heart of Castellana Grotte. A early morning visit here became a regular occurance during our two week holiday in Puglia. The crossiants were fabulous, cakes too and the chocolate filled cruffin(?) was sublime. Coffee was excellent and the service smiley and friendly - even to an Englishman with rubbish italian.

The owner's passion for his work is evident in the products he creates. The quality of the ingredients is excellent, and the vast selection of croissants, brioches, cookies, and pastries of all kinds is beautiful to look at and delicious to eat. And not to mention the gelato! A true sensory delight... The courteous and friendly staff, in a charming and refined setting, make the Dream Café experience unforgettable.

🌞 An exceptional breakfast in the purest Italian tradition, with a touch of refined modernity! 🇮🇹🥐🍊 We had the pleasure of enjoying a simply extraordinary breakfast. Upon arrival, the carefully set table with its textured black plates, fresh orange juice served in pretty glasses, and artistically presented pastries whetted our appetite. The pastries are true works of pastry art: perfect puff pastry, appetizing shine, and generous fillings. A special mention goes to the Fagotto alla nocciola, a visually impressive marvel with an airy texture and intense hazelnut flavor. Each bite is a pure moment of bliss. The cappuccino, incredibly smooth and topped with an impeccable foam, provides the perfect warm and creamy touch to accompany this sweet experience. The setting is pleasant and bright, and the welcome is warm—perfect for starting the day in a good mood. The products are clearly homemade, with great attention to detail and true creativity in the kitchen. A huge congratulations to the team for this experience, as beautiful as it is delicious. A breakfast worth the detour, and one that makes you want to come back again and again!

Superb coffee with a huge selection. I loved having breakfast every morning during my stay in Castellana! The prices were more than reasonable considering the quality of the products. I was surprised by the bill; there was no coperto and water was offered to everyone. Very warm welcome, even though we don't speak Italian; they speak very good English. I recommend it 100%!

23/10/2025: A Japanese restaurant featured in the Kenta guide. The restaurant is modern, intimate, and elegant. Attentive and courteous service. High-quality ingredients are used. We opted for the six-course tasting menu, plus an extra wagyu gyoza. Everything was truly excellent and expertly prepared. The price was in line with the quality offered.

11/11/2025: The birth of a new baby On Sunday, November 9th, as guests at our relative's baby shower, we had the opportunity to experience the event at the Garden Bistrot, known as "𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶 𝗕𝗮𝗿," in my hometown of Molfetta. My wife and I, our first-time guests at the venue, were particularly impressed from the moment we entered. We found ourselves inside and before a small but charming treasure trove, perfect for a different kind of day, perhaps, as in our case, for a joyful and unpretentious celebration. Expertly and understatedly furnished, from the exterior to the interior, the overall atmosphere evoked a fluid style that transcended "industrial art design" to "vintage living room." The romantic atmosphere, with its iridescent, muted, and intimately delicate hues, was captivating. It even erased the dreariness of a persistent rainy day. Equally evocative was the intensity of the dessert courses (we were only enjoying a snack), which confirmed the widespread reputation for the service and the quality of the dishes, both first and second courses, as recounted by regular veterans of the typical pre- and post-lunch relaxation they enjoyed there. Moreover, the price was fair and commensurate with the service and quality offered. The guests themselves also praised the wine pairings, the overall attention to detail, and the hospitality, especially the dedication and helpfulness to their customers. And while we hadn't yet experienced a full lunch or dinner, from what we could see immediately after our little girl's newly arrived birthday party, we couldn't help but agree. On the other hand, as if by design, the next day (i.e., as I write this), while surfing the web, I learned of the "𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗼" award given to the 𝔽𝕚𝕠𝕣𝕚 family by the Puglia Region and the Bari Chamber of Commerce for their decades-long, commendable activity (over 70 years) in the hands of the same family, for three generations (see article published by 𝙍𝙚𝙥𝙪𝙗𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙖, in December '24). Well done, keep it up for at least three more.
