Menu at 37 euros, antipasti, pasta, meat/fish, dessert with “carattere terribile” wine. Rather not too expensive considering the service. Everything was very well presented, super good. Top service and pleasant staff.

What to say. We had a great time. There were only two of us in the restaurant. Maybe we booked too early but we liked it. Very romantic like that. Very nice environment. The person serving us is very kind. As for the food, however, it is very particular and very refined. Definitely worth trying. I would come next time to try other dishes.

My boyfriend and I stayed there for our anniversary and we had a great time!
Truly exquisite dishes, simple appetizers but truly thought out and served with refinement!
The pasta, the main character of the place, is really even better than you might think. The pasta I got was even beyond my expectations, creamy, tasty and very, very tasty!
Not to tell you how good the sweet and sour pig was with honey and a spicy note. Impeccable dessert, truly mouth-watering!
An experience that I would do again to be able to taste all the pasta dishes! Staff really prepared and polite in their ways

Dorotea è una garanzia sotto tutti i punti di vista. L'abbiamo scelto per due ricorrenze ed ha sorpreso piacevolmente noi, e tutti i commensali, in entrambe le occasioni. Piatti gustosissimi e ben presentati. Servizio impeccabile, attento, veloce e simpatico. Le ragazze non hanno mai lesinato attenzioni e sorrisi (il che non è affatto scontato). Un mio personalissimo complimento va Antonio, chef e titolare, per la sua disponibilità e professionalità. Grazie ai suoi consigli abbiamo fatto un menù che ha lasciato tutti gli amici ed i parenti davvero soddisfatti. Bravi tutti. Continuate così!

The table reservation was empathetic both by telephone and in person.
Food is subjective. I am not discussing the quality, but only the preparation and combination of the various ingredients, which once reached the palate give the praise or blame of the taste. Behind every dish there is the study of preparation, the pairing tests. the choices of components, the various cooking methods, etc.
The commitment I perceived in the various dishes presented is a 10 for me.
- Focaccia appetizer with ricotta foam, crispy bacon and caramelized onion... an excellent combination of flavours.
- Scarpariello from Campania... I have personally tasted "scarpariello" several times in Salerno and I did not find it remotely similar to this dish. Different, good, tasty... but not the same. If they had called it "Spaghetti alla Dorotea" I would have appreciated that style.
- Lucanian pig... Very good, excellent meat, excellent cooking, excellent presentation. I perceived a quantity of honey that dominated other flavours. But we always talk about "very personal" sensations.
Pistachio & hazelnut dessert... excellent taste. Artisanal cherry tasting.
Primitive Rosé wine, good and respectfully served in the seau à glace.
The table service was top notch. The staff was always attentive to our needs, suggesting dishes that would meet our taste and curiosity. Kind, accommodating, patient and never invasive.
Small flaws that I think are worth one star less are given by the tables that are not suitable for a restaurant and the absence of a tablecloth that can cover the surface.
Not being a trattoria or pizzeria where the customer is satisfied with what he finds because the food in those places is "hit and run"... I would have appreciated more reflection towards the customer.
Overall, thanks to everyone for the lovely morning spent with you in the flavor partnership.

La prenotazione del tavolo è stata empatica sia telefonicamente che personalmente.
Il cibo è soggettivo. Non discuto la qualità, ma solo la preparazione e l'abbinamento dei vari ingredienti, che arrivati al palato danno l'elogio o biasimo del gusto. Dietro ogni pietanza c'è lo studio della preparazione, le prove di abbinamento. le scelte dei componenti, le varie cotture, etc.
L'impegno che ho percepito nelle varie pietante presentate è 10 per me.
- Antipasto di focaccia con spuma di ricotta, guanciale croccante e cipolla caramellata.. un sodalizio di sapori ottimo.
- Scarpariello campano... Ho personalmente più volte assaggiato a Salerno lo "scarpariello" e non l'ho trovato minimamente simile a questo piatto. Diverso, buono, saporito... ma non uguale. Se l'avessero chiamata "Spaghetti alla Dorotea" avrei apprezzato quello stile.
- Maialino lucano... Molto buono, ottima la carne, ottima la cottura, ottima la presentazione. Ho percepito una quantità di miele che s'imponeva su altri sapori. Ma si parla sempre si sensazioni "personalissime".
Dessert pistacchio & nocciola... ottimo al gusto. Degustazione di cherry artigianale.
Vino Rosè primitivo, buono e servito rispettosamente nel seau à glace.
Il servizio ai tavoli è stato da 10 e lode. Lo staff è stato sempre attento alle nostre esigenze, suggerendoci piatti che potessero incontrare il nostro gusto e curiosità. Gentili, accomodanti, pazienti e mai invasivi.
Piccole pecche che ritengo valgano una stella in meno sono date dai tavolini non consoni ad un ristorante e l'assenza di tovaglia che possa ricoprire il piano.
Non essendo una trattoria o pizzeria dove l'avventore si accontenta di quello che trova perchè il cibo in quei locali è "mordi e fuggi"... avrei apprezzato una riflessione maggiore verso il cliente.
Nel complesso, un ringraziamento a tutti per la bella mattinata passata con voi nel sodalizio di sapori.

Those who follow my reviews know that I am stingy with compliments and that a location must really fascinate me to get a high rating. This place deserves my attention and that of the users. Each course was perfect, excellent in seasonings, right in presentation. Attentive and qualified service. I assure you that it is a real spaghetti shop where the first thing that stands out is the cooking of the pasta, al dente, just right. The Nerano spaghetti with courgettes and prawn cuts and the revisited cacio e pepe are good. I was surprised by the balance of flavors. Let yourself be carried away by the journey of taste. Try it and let me know!

A wonderful discovery, this spaghetti shop with a welcoming and soft atmosphere. The location is not very large and is still a very popular place, so I recommend booking in advance and for not too large groups.
We tried the €27 tasting menu which included mixed starters, a first course of your choice, monkfish and Apulian rosoli. All very good, very refined starters and unusual first courses. In particular, among the first courses I really appreciated the cacio pepe & scottona and also the spaghetti garlic and oil pezzente & cardoncelli. A little less, however, "it almost seems like Nerano", but it is a matter of personal taste.
The only point that is not too favorable is that to choose the tasting menu the whole table must agree, so it is not possible to have different orders (for example a member who only wants the first one will then influence the choices of the whole table ).
The service was also excellent, kind and quick waiters, who were also able to recommend excellent wines to accompany the tasting (not included in the cost of the menu). Definitely coming back
