It's a given...aside from the historic gubane, the bread is excellent and the brioches are super fresh. The staff is incredibly friendly and service is quick.

Great quality at reasonable prices, and exceptionally friendly staff. We were there every day for breakfast and often for a nightcap in the evening. We'll definitely be back!

We spent five nights in the Natisone Valley, and during our stay we went there almost every day for every occasion. Bread, pizza, baked goods, and pastries…all the products sparkled in the windows and in the baskets, making us stumped. Before leaving, we also picked up a piece of "Cuor di Marrone" (if I weren't allergic to nuts, I would have loved to try the famous Gubana!); it was so delicious and it gave us a sense of luxury. It's a real treasure; I'd go there every day if I lived nearby…in the meantime, we'll definitely try buying online for the special occasion.

We went there on Lonely Planet's recommendation and were very satisfied. In addition to the delicious Gubana, we had a very good walnut tart, and I was really impressed: the pastry with the incredible cream was crispy like I've rarely tasted before. The coffee was also excellent. Special praise to the girl who served us and who gave us lots of tips on places to eat in Udine, thank you!

16/11/2025: A magical, ancient place, rooted in tradition yet open to contemporary and other influences. It's always a pleasure and a certainty to return.
02/11/2025: Some dishes are very good, e.g.: savory strudel appetizer and chalsons, other dishes are a little less so, e.g.: gialletti appetizer, polenta and ricotta (rather bitter).

23/11/2025: Charming and welcoming place, not huge, so I think it's best to book. Friendly staff. Bread was always available. Appetizer, first or second course, Ribolla Gialla, water, and coffee were about $35 per person (but it depends on the dishes and drinks). The portions were just right, not too much and not too little. Quality: I have to say everything we ordered was excellent. Being a trattoria, there's not a huge selection, but from a look at the other tables, I'd say it was good! I didn't take many photos, and I'm a bit disappointed; my mouth watered this time! If you're in Udine, stop here! ☺️
13/11/2025: A wonderful little trattoria where you can enjoy truly high-quality, simple, and delicious dishes. I recommend the goose breast as an appetizer and the tartare as a main course. We'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.
