Fantastic sandwiches, friendly staff, and the view of Santa Croce. Better food than what the people are getting around the corner after waiting in line at Pino’s and more pleasant spot to enjoy it.

There is a “famous” sandwich shop with very long lines and multiple locations in Florence and around the world that isn’t anywhere as good as Dondino’s. Their panini are so much better, with toasted focaccia and not too much cheese. I would love to eat here again ❤️

Really nice to have a cold drink, cocktail or wine with great antipasta for you Florence visit. Nice staff and surprising interior
Very nice and clean place. The ice cream is amazing in the true sense of the word. We were served by a smiling, very attentive and thoughtful boy who was very pleasant to talk to!

Sandwiches were very, very good, and much bigger than we thought they would be, so good infact that we returned 4 times in the week that we were In Florence, to eat and drink. I recommend the Leo sandwich, with ham and flavourful gorgonzola cheese, maybe try one between two people, they are rather large.

Welcome with a smile
And a “Schiacciate ripiene” – Le santa croce – Excellent!
This type of small restaurant/bar is ideal for relaxing.
There are some interesting beers which add interest to this establishment.

This place is incredible, they were sweet and so happy when we tried to speak Italian. The views are incredible, and the house wine is the best tasting wine I’ve drank in Tuscany so far. 1liter of house wine is €22 :) The food is also sooo good!

Really very nice place, well looked after and with a beautiful view of the Basilica of Santa Croce! The flatbreads and beers are of excellent quality and the menu offers many options! The staff is very kind and prepared. We will definitely return if we return to Florence ♥️♥️♥️
