I went to this restaurant with my family and friends for lunch yesterday. What can I say...the location is truly stunning, both inside and out, in a lovely protected garden. Elegant and refined. Fantastisch Piemonts eten tegen een hele goede prijs. Heerlijke entourage. Wij hadden de heerlijkste vitello tonnato ooit.

It was a journey of taste, with well-balanced dishes served with beautiful presentation. You can tell the restaurant is a former Michelin star. The veal tonné was among the best in Piedmont, and the desserts were exquisite.

There were 4 of us for dinner, but it wasn't our first time: we had already come two/three years ago and we had great memories of it. This time too, the place struck us for the beauty and elegance of the rooms, the refined and relaxed atmosphere, and a truly excellent service: the staff was always attentive, helpful and very friendly. We really appreciated both the first and second courses, of a high standard in every aspect, from the quality of the raw materials to the precision in the execution. The only aspect that convinced us less were the desserts. Each of us chose a different dessert, but unfortunately all four disappointed us. While recognizing the care in the presentation and the attention to contemporary trends, we found them not very incisive in taste and structure, especially in relation to the price (11 euros). Certainly beautiful to look at, but not satisfying to the palate: unfortunately it is a trend in contemporary pastry making, but it makes us miss the simple but tasty cakes that grandmothers and mountain huts make at home. I hope this little tip is welcomed in a constructive way, since I recommend the experience in this place.

I went for a dinner with friends, in the outdoor garden on a June evening. Delicious food, a pleasure to taste and see. Super wine pairing. Intimate and pleasant atmosphere. Friendly service. I would love to go back!

As far as I'm concerned, Donatella bistro is the best place I've ever gone to eat, both for the raw materials used and for the professionalism, commitment and passion of the person who gave it its name.
