absolutely excellent food. unpleasant to dine outdoors in the heat and mosquitoes, when the inside was empty, by choice of the restaurant. plus our table was on a slope, as we also wanted to place people on the access ramp to the garden

Read so many recent good reviews so decided to stop here for a lunch. Located in a small village, near to the local castle, entrance is strictly controlled for those with reservations maybe because we went there on a Sunday, so don’t know how would be the weekdays. Ambiance is nice, with strong colorful paintings (those resembled ufos), pleasant. We ordered some fried porcinis, pumpkin cream and a sliced veal with mayonnaise tuna sauce (15-17,00) everybody loved the sliced veal and the fried porcinis, a bit less the pumpkin cream... the homemade pasta (tagliolini) were really great (15,00) and the tripe (19,00) and stockfish (21,00) were really well done and delicious. As desserts we had an interesting basil panna cotta and a mango custard (9-10,00) served in tumblers, it would be better if they place a demitasse or iced tea spoon instead of a dinner spoon which made it difficult to eat it since the tumbler had carvings so much of the cream stay trapped inside... The food itself was thumbs up but issues are for the service, waiting time between courses was too long (we entered at 12:40 and left at 15:56) and didn’t understand why the tables who arrived later than us were served first and obvious they finished before us. One waitress looked so annoyed while serving us (bad day?) others were more enthusiastic, pity they were serving the other tables.
