Don Marios's Bar Tabacchi In Roma

10/04/2026: It was one of my go-to pastry shops in Rome's Laurentina/Eur area...excellent cappuccino, croissants, and mini pastries! The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, also ideal for enjoying tea with friends. Lately, however, I've noticed a systematic decline in the quality of the desserts. The peak was on Easter Monday morning when I bought two pastieras (regardless of the price, I think it was €36/kg). They were definitely made with fresh ingredients, as they're usually made for these occasions, but they were quite dry. Let's just say the guests weren't very happy with them... Now I don't know if the management has changed or if the pastry chef has changed, but that's not how it should be. Years ago, Tornatora was synonymous with quality.

16/11/2025: Excellent dining spot. Breakfast is available, including coffee, cappuccino, and more. There's also a wide selection of pastries, cakes, and desserts. The atmosphere is elegant and modern. Also recommended for an aperitif or a brenck.
