I went for a birthday party. I already knew the place, but the birthday boy didn't, and he wanted to try it. I wouldn't have chosen it because of the two-seating issue. I hate places like that on principle; you know right from the start that you'll either eat very late or you'll eat in a hurry. And in fact, nothing special to say about the food, which was good (though honestly no better than other places). Perhaps the appetizers like empanadas or sweetbreads were better than the meat dishes themselves. The only thing that really made it a negative was the service. The waiters were kind but clearly "in a hurry," they were in a hurry to let us choose from the menu, serve us, and clear the table for us, which was supposed to be vacated at 9:30 PM. For this reason, we decided to go elsewhere for dessert, a liqueur, and coffee, to enjoy dinner a little more. Not remarkable enough to return; I remembered it much better.

The staff at Don Mario were very welcoming. Everything was delicious. The ingredients were excellent, and the meat was grilled to perfection. Be careful with the side sauces, which are good but can be hard to digest. The staff was attentive and courteous. The only thing that could probably be improved was the bread. It would be nice to have better bread with that kind of meat. The desserts were also good.
