Everything was perfect, highly recommended. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was delicious and plentiful, and the prices were reasonable.

Rustic trattoria, excellent dishes, welcoming staff. After many years, I returned for lunch. The usual welcome, with hard-boiled egg and Zibibbo wine. The stew with potatoes was excellent!!

An unexpected and truly fantastic experience! Thank you all for maintaining this authentic, honest, and decidedly high-quality place. After a day wandering around Palermo, we were longing for the authentic food we found here.

A historic trattoria passed down from father to son, it has changed locations several times. Its first location, near the station, was managed by the founder, who was 8 years old at the time. It continues to respect the rules and traditions of its founder, such as the boiled egg and zibibbo appetizer. Above all, the dishes are always authentic and healthy, the prices are very fair, and the staff is courteous and helpful. Recommended.

Unique! We had watched a documentary about Sicily on 3sat a few days earlier. The restaurant was recommended as a one-of-a-kind establishment with exceptional Sicilian cuisine. And it's true.

Fantastic restaurant! Great interior and great vibe, with very good service. My maccheroncino alle carrettiera was so good... Thick all dente spaghetti, tremendous garlic, warm slightly charred crispy bread. Ooooooo. This was a great find in the middle of Bagheria.

As an Australian who has recently relocated to the area, finding Trattoria Don Ciccio has been a real gift. I’ve eaten here regularly, and every single visit delivers the same result: a perfect meal and genuinely warm, attentive service. The menu is simple, but that’s exactly where the magic lies — everything is done exceptionally well, with a level of consistency that’s honestly rare. The involtini are without doubt the best in the Palermo area — perfectly cooked, full of flavour, and exactly how they should be. My advice: stick with the traditional Sicilian house wine. It pairs beautifully with the food and completes the experience. And the tiramisu? Absolutely outstanding — easily one of the best I’ve ever had and the perfect way to end the meal. Food and service: 100 out of 10. A true local gem that never disappoints.
