DON CARLOS is a journey into the past. The restaurant is located in one of the alleys of one of the most prestigious streets in Milan. It will take you on a journey into authentic Italian cuisine in the class of the nobility of the past. The design and service take you into the noble houses of Milan of the past with the flavors of authentic food at the highest level. So what do you have to taste in a place like this? Of course we took the saffron risotto, one of the most Milanese dishes there is. Usually it is served with ossobucco, but this time we only took the risotto, the Milanese schnitzel, the cutlet that comes served on the bone and is delicate and delicious at the highest levels, and of course homemade tortellini stuffed with seasonal vegetables and handmade tomato pasta. Everything was simply perfect, just like an Italian mamma.

Comida exquisita. Servicio impecable. Risotto que era absolutamente boca - agua, un plato que nunca aprecié antes. Platos únicos muy bien presentados.

Нежная рикотта с её кремовой текстурой и лёгкой солоноватостью покорила с первого кусочка. Русский салат, поданный с элегантным акцентом, сохранил традиционный шарм, но приобрёл утончённые ноты. Артишок, приготовленный до совершенства, удивил сочетанием хруста и мягкости, а лобстер… О, этот лобстер! Сочное мясо, подчеркнутое изысканным соусом, стало главным героем вечера. Вина: Винная карта Don Carlo — отдельный восторг. Бароло 2020 года, который я выбрал, оказался идеальным спутником ужина: насыщенный, с бархатистыми танинами и нотами спелых ягод, он гармонично дополнял каждое блюдо. Обслуживание. Персонал проявил высший уровень профессионализма — внимательный, но ненавязчивый, с глубоким знанием меню. Каждая рекомендация официанта была точной, а сервис — безукоризненно быстрым. Атмосфера: Интерьер ресторана словно переносит в эпоху роскоши XIX века: изящная мебель, мягкое освещение, старинные зеркала и ткани в пастельных тонах создают атмосферу уюта и элегантности. Don Carlo — это не просто ресторан, а настоящее путешествие для гурманов и эстетов. Если вы ищете место, где история, вкус и сервис сливаются в идеальную гармонию, смело бронируйте столик здесь. 🌟Gourmet dinner in the heart of Milan🌟 The Don Carlo restaurant at the legendary Grand Hotel et de Milan gave me an unforgettable evening, where every detail - from the interior to the final dessert - was impeccable. Cuisine: Let me start by saying that even the bread basket here is a work of art: fresh, with a crispy crust and a variety of varieties, it perfectly prepared the taste buds for the further gastronomic journey. Delicate ricotta with its creamy texture and slight saltiness captivated me from the first bite. The Russian salad, served with an elegant twist, retains its traditional charm but takes on a sophisticated twist. The artichoke, cooked to perfection, was a surprise with its combination of crunch and softness, and the lobster... Oh, that lobster! Juicy meat, emphasized by an exquisite sauce, became the main character of the evening. Wines: The Don Carlo wine list is a special delight. The 2020 Barolo I chose was the perfect dinner companion: full-bodied, with velvety tannins and notes of ripe berries, it complemented each dish harmoniously. Service. The staff showed the highest level of professionalism - attentive but unobtrusive, with in-depth knowledge of the menu. Every recommendation from the waiter was accurate, and the service was impeccably fast. Atmosphere: The restaurant's interior seems to transport you to the era of luxury of the 19th century: elegant furniture, soft lighting, antique mirrors and fabrics in pastel colors create an atmosphere of comfort and elegance. Don Carlo is not just a restaurant, but a real journey for gourmets and aesthetes. If you're looking for a place where history, taste and service come together in perfect harmony, don't hesitate to book a table here. I would like to express my gratitude to this restaurant and its wonderful team (chef, waiters, administrator) for a wonderful evening, where my family and I were able to immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of classical music, cozy beautiful space, amazing, delicious original food + care and service of the guys serving us!!!! The first evening we spent in Milan: After having a disappointing starter elsewhere, we made an online reservation at Don Carlos and received a confirmation straight away. With a bit of luck we found the small alley (but didn't check that it belonged to the Grand Hotel et de Milan). The place is actually a little pearl in this metropolis, where not many people get lost. Although we weren't necessarily looking for haute cuisine, we felt we were treated very well here. Admittedly, the decor is a bit dark and mystical, but still pleasant. The food was excellent, the dessert was a poem. The cauliflower ritual was something different, but totally passionate :-) Thank you very much for this lovely evening.

Loved this place I found on a search for late night dinner. Risotto was just outstanding and sensational! Service is great, lovely complimentary stuzzichino!
