Don Camillo In Siracusa

Everything was pretty tasty, except the white fish in seaweed mosaic. Unless you love seaweed that much I highly urge to slip that one

A very, very good place! The best pizza in Sicily. The owner is adorable and will show you around his restaurant and show you photos of the stars who have stopped there. Don't hesitate to stop by after strolling through the narrow streets of Orthigia.

Very good tasting menu and attentive albeit at times distant service. The dining room is beautiful but the hard surfaces amplified the noise from the two tables of loud US women at the other end. Not the restaurant’s fault and the chef at his table visits was warm and friendly and did apologise for their noise. Food really was good for a non-starred place and would come back but suggest placing tables of six or nine American women in a separate space from those out for a more intimate meal if at all possible next time!

This time again, a memorable experience, through the history of Sicilian cuisine, with the menu Our History. A journey with always surprising passages and two top stops. Hurray!

Our story (tasting menu) was a unique experience. I invite everyone to go there. I have been lucky enough to travel a lot and try many excellent restaurants (even starred ones). Today I think I have been to the best restaurant in my life. Don Camillo is a master!

Without a doubt, this is a fantastic restaurant offering the best atmosphere, service and food in Ortigia. In particular, the tuna steak, crispy on the outside and rare in the middle, was superb.

Last night I had dinner at this restaurant with my wife and I want to applaud: the place, the service, the tasty menu full of exquisite flavors, a round of applause for the lady at the cash register, the owner, and above all for the chef who was able to kidnap me and enrapture me with his compositions. I dedicate a round of applause to everyone because as an actor I know that the greatest satisfaction and the greatest recognition after a performance is applause. Well done. You can't forget this place when coming to Syracuse. I really hope to return.

The service was excellent, but the food… definitely not worth the price. We’ve dined at many fine restaurants across Italy, and unfortunately, this place still has a long way to go in terms of quality and value.

Ristorante di un grandissimo livello, materia prima ineccepibile, ancor di più un merito allo staff di sala che ti fa sentire a proprio agio e consiglia scelte mirate per un percorso degustazione enoganoaronimco eccezionale. Complimenti allo chef e al suo personale. Torneremo sicuramente.

Desde el momento en que llegamos sabía que íbamos a tener una velada maravillosa. Un comedor muy bonito con mesas blancas bien espaciadas. El servicio fue impecable, amable, profesional y el gerente estaba muy bien informado sobre el menú. Hay varios menús degustación (: y ala carta ) y habiendo comido mucho marisco recientemente elegimos el menú de carnes. Todo estaba delicioso con carne de res, conejo y el plato de cordero más maravilloso. El postre fue pera escalfada rellena de un queso azul divino, que nunca olvidaré. Hay una selección de vinos muy amplia y el sumiller fue muy útil seleccionando la botella perfecta para nosotros. He estado en muchos restaurantes con estrellas Michelin, pero este es definitivamente uno de mis favoritos.
