I stop by sometimes to get take-away lunch, everything is really delicious: from fried foods, to traditional Trieste sandwiches, to meatballs and canapés! Highly recommended!

Spartan but clean environment, one of the best porcini mushrooms eaten in Trieste. The various meatballs are also top of the range.

Definitely unique place. Super sandwiches, really high quality and great choice. There is something for all palates. The meatballs are unique, not to mention the mozzarella in carrozza that flies away immediately as soon as you put them on the counter. I recommend it to everyone who wants to try the TRUE BUFFET TRIESTINO.

27/08/2025: A very cozy homey place with seafood dishes and friendly staff.
23/08/2025: A very characteristic place. You can dine outdoors in the shade of tall trees and with a view of the Bay of Trieste. The atmosphere is naturally informal, as befits a trattoria. The staff is friendly, but not particularly welcoming. The wait is a bit long (it was lunch on the 15th of August, and the place was packed, so they're fully excused). The menu features fish and meat dishes, with traditional local dishes, mostly breaded and fried. I found everything particularly good, so I'd recommend the place. The prices are fair.
