Dolce Vita In Roma

We had looked at multiple menus on the piazza Navona square and this one spoke to us a bit more than the others and the steak was priced at €7 so we decided to eat here. The food was actually very nice! And despite previous reviews, we had quick and prompt service, no delays etc. The thing that we were shocked at was the bill! It came to €71 as the steak was showing €30 on the bill?! I didn’t question because the steak was absolutely HUGE so I wonder if it was €7 per 100g (400g-500g steak) but this was not mentioned anywhere on the menu which I think is really wrong. When ordering he mentioned the steak is big but did not mention the price. Probably just a language barrier… My partner had a burger and fries and I also had a salad. The salad was slightly warm but not off putting! Overall it was an ok experience and one of the best dinners we’ve had in Rome and we’ve tried multiple places!

This is one of many sidewalk cafes/restaurants in a very touristy area and the prices reflect that. It was not very busy last night (I think because all the other cafes were showing the Eurocup games on big screen TVs) We decided to pay for the view of the piazza and the experience. The service was friendly and the mushroom pasta was very fresh. We also had a caprese salad that was tasty. Probably not the very best food in Rome, but it was overall a lovely experience. A perfect stop on our walking tour of Rome. Restrooms were clean.

Honestly, I see all the bad reviews. But I had a perfect experience. Friendly staff, good service, a lovely ceasar salad (priced the same as any other restaurant) and a perfect Aperol! Gracie Mille!

Judge for yourself €12 for an American breakfast - €1 as fried, a slice of toasted bread, a slice of bacon and some tomato. Coffee, too. Another €12 for two baby pancakes and orange juice. The taste is very good, but the competition next door was €9 each. Well, plus the little sparrows that flew to the table and ruffled their feathers when they waited too long for a crumb. A revelation for a child.

Not a bad spot for drinks/aperitivo in the square. Prices are justified by the location.

Great food, great service. The Octopus Salad was better than anything we’ve had yet! The service was perfect.

We only sat down for coffee and beer. Everything was good, the service was prompt and there was good music. As for atmosphere 5/5 because you are in one of the best parts of Rome. We didn't get food but we read bad reviews. The prices are high because of the gourmet spot. Recommended for coffee.

I don't understand why there are such bad reviews. My experience was very good and so was that of my companions. The waiter who served us was very kind and friendly. They gave us very good treatment and the prices were not crazy. It is the same as we have paid in other restaurants in Rome. The food is good and on top of that it has a very good location. You can not ask for more!

The service from Akash was topnotch. He was very nice and helpful. We had a decent lunch here during our break time from work. We ordered Quattro Formaggi Pizza and it was okay. We also had Fiori di Zucca and they’re okay as well.
