I had two Florentine steaks on two different evenings, both perfectly cooked and of good quality. The cortoni were good, and the friggione was recommended.
The price was reasonable for the quality of the food.

Excellent food and a very charming and elegant location. As for the service, I had some reservations. After looking at the wine list, I chose a €24 wine. The waiter, on his own initiative, suggested a Ca' del Bosco, implying it was in the same price range. The only flaw was that he brought me an €80 bottle. I was unsure, so I checked the price of the bottle, and it was indeed €80. So I called the waiter, who admitted his mistake and told me he'd charge me €50 instead of €80. So as not to ruin my evening, I pretended nothing had happened. But his ears are probably still ringing from yesterday.

A holiday... so a lot of people and waiters, sometimes with a sense of déjà vu... anyway, the potatoes were very salty and the salami appetizer was still too tender. After this blood pressure spike, the spaghetti arrived (without olives, forgotten or gone) but with a soft consistency like Polish passatelli and bathed in a sauce that could be described as washed out... oh well, other diners enjoyed the pumpkin pies! The dessert was delicious, and to make sure I didn't end it on a bad note, I sipped a sambuca coffee!
