19/08/2025: I rarely post a second review for the same place, but when I encounter that consistency in positive aspects that's so rare, especially in public spaces, I can't help but repeat myself. Especially when I'm tempted to try different dishes, and here I want to highlight the pizza specialties, which at La Fenice are numerous, creative, and decidedly excellent. I've been coming here for years, and I was intrigued by the sight of a multicolored pizza with a white ball in the center: it's the pesto pizza with buffalo mozzarella and burrata, a true indulgence. But let's start with the dough, which perfectly embodies the region's custom, far removed from traditional Neapolitan pizza, so soft but not overly thick, smooth and flavorful. The combination of the fresh and slightly acidic basil pesto with the creamy and flavorful buffalo mozzarella burrata is a true delight for the palate. When it comes to ingredients, freshness, and authenticity, we're talking about quality. But the skill of pairing is the true art of cooking. And this restaurant excels in pizza, offering a wide range of dishes with dozens of recipes, all highly personal and often innovative.
