[EDIT: I was contacted by the staff (Alessandro) who apologized and invited me to try the restaurant experience again. I can only appreciate the style and education. So for now I'm raising it to three stars, with the hope of making it five soon.]
One cold and rainy evening in February, I arrive at the restaurant, after having regularly booked a table the previous day, a few minutes before the agreed time. Be careful, because this detail is not secondary.
I ask to sit down, but they tell me "we have reserved inside for those who have booked the Valentine's Day menu (so what? I also booked and maybe I would have even spent more, but that's not the problem), you can sit outside". By “outside”, I think, they mean the heated outdoor area. I think badly. They point me to an isolated table, with seats soaked in water, under a dripping umbrella, in the dark, on the road ten centimeters from the cars.
Remember when I said to pay attention to that detail at the beginning? I had booked. And they saw fit to occupy all the available seats and reserve the seat for the poor asshole who booked.
I said “thank you, no”, I said goodbye with a smile and the certainty that they will never see me again.

Excellent place on the climb up Via San Giuliano, the type of "cold" cuisine leaves you pleasantly surprised.
Top staff, I was finally able to drink red wine in the appropriate glasses, which is not a very obvious thing here in Catania.
Many thanks to Alessandro who, in his explanations of the various labels, made his passion for what he does shine through.
Compliments to the chef, each dish is a fantastic creation, as well as delicious.

I absolutely loved this place! A very lovely atmosphere with proffesional staff. We took the seafood board for two and spritz and both, the food and the drunks, were amazing. The board offerend a wide variety of different seafood and it was definitely enough for two, maybe even for three people, it also came with some breadstics. I really enjoyed the variety and you can really try so much for one meal!

We were twice there, the first time we had the fish plate and the the second time the cheese plate with some extras.
Both was excellent and real good wine recommendations rounded up the perfect service. We really recommend this location.
Downtown at the Piazza Duomo the is another restaurant of this chain, but we did not try it.

We were not all that hungry and stopped in for some wine and a few snacks. The wine was great, but the simple salad was really, really good. As was the sandwich we concocted from the available choices. We wanted to go back but ran out of time.

On Sunday evening we had dinner there with friends, I must say that it was a wonderful discovery, studied and high quality food, friendly and professional staff always ready to advise you on choices and above all a well-stocked cellar, absolutely recommended.

Excellent raw materials with an excellent wine proposal made by the waiter. at the right price. We recommend the cold cuts and cheese platter where you can choose the type of sausage and cheese. The Ragusano cheese and Spanish salami are excellent.

Gran colección de vinos sicilianos, ales artesanales y charcutería. Todos los platos están preparados para maridar un determinado vino, así que no vengas aquí solo a comer! Si estás buscando una comida caliente, mejor salta este lugar.
Tienen conexiones con los mejores viñedos de la isla, por lo que algunos de los vinos son realmente alucinantes. Comenzó con una copa de rosa y un par de panini con prosciutto crudo, luego el camarero me recomendó un vino blanco que me envió a la luna y de regreso, junto a una generosa meseta de mariscos y pescado ahumado.
Terminó el almuerzo con estilo con una copa de Negroni Amarsalato, una versión del cóctel clásico con vino Marsala en reemplazo del Campari. Utilizaron Marsala seco para la receta - absolutamente precioso!
