Divan Japonais In Frascati

First time at Divan Japonais at Max's! Well what can I say, I was really satisfied with this place with its welcoming and slightly retro atmosphere. As soon as we sat down we were greeted with some delicious olives flavored with spices, if I'm not mistaken some chips and a glass of aniseed water, I must say very simple but not at all obvious, very refreshing. The quantity of alcohol available, and their quality amazed me a lot. The menu offers a lot of choice, and the cocktails are really good, with a refined flavour. Personally I think it's brilliant to accompany the cocktail with a cruet that allows you to refill the glass. Highly recommended for those who love drinking quality cocktails at fair prices!!!! I will definitely be back!!!!!!

Very good cook, limited but delicious menu. But the best are the cocktails, Max is very good and offers classics as well as spectacular reinterpretations. The quality of the products used is very high, regardless of how you leave the place the next day you will not have any after-effects. Incredible selection of spirits, you won't be able to avoid the tasting triptych always recommended by Max. Be prepared to spend a little more than usual but it's worth it also because no one else brings you the cocktail with the refill, highly recommended.

Splendid aperitif dinner. Corina the cook is a courteous, discreet and kind woman beyond words as well as an exceptional cook. Highly recommended, if you come to Frascati you cannot miss a dinner in this splendid location.

Fixed stop every time I come to Rome. There is little to say, this place must be tried, leaving freedom of expression to Max who is an artist more than a bartender. Superior quality cocktails, prepared with technique and perfection. Small and very welcoming place a few steps from the center of Frascati. Huge choice of cocktails, liqueurs etc.

Place of the heart, a wall of refined alcohol and the care of Max and Corinna are priceless. Furnishings from grandma's old house with lace and lace. A magical place!
