Inside the Gigli district, Dispensa Emilia is currently the absolute best place to eat. It's located on the second floor, across from the Old Wild West. It's the ideal choice because it offers excellent quality at very fair prices, far surpassing traditional fast food. The tigelle (hot and perfectly filled) are the real highlight of the menu. The service is ultra-fast and organized: you order and are served directly at your table, and the staff is always friendly. The only thing to keep in mind is that on weekends the restaurant area gets very chaotic and noisy, but the food is absolutely worth it. Highly recommended if you're in the area for shopping!

I ordered and paid at the door, and so far nothing unusual; but if I wanted another dish, I'd have to leave my table, queue up again at the cashier, pay, and return to my table. I strongly recommend reviewing this completely flawed and customer-infuriating procedure.

The dishes are plentiful and the quality is good. The prices may be a bit high, but if you want to enjoy stuffed tigelle (and there are plenty) with a glass of Lambrusco, this is the place to go. The salads are also good.

01/03/2026: Takeout, delicious vegetarian schiacciata, truly very balanced. Portions a bit small, more suitable for a snack.
05/12/2025: Excellent schiacciata, not too salty, crunchy, and just the right amount of height, well-stuffed with whatever you choose, and...at the right price! (P.S.: Better than the more famous one...)
