Excellent reputation, terrible value. The spaghetti with clams is absolutely not up to par, lacking flavor and not al dente. The appetizers are good and the desserts excellent. Attentive service, the waiter is knowledgeable, humorous, and never out of place. Considering I didn't finish the first course, they could have at least offered coffee or at least a liqueur. What a shame.

Beautiful venue, unique experience, knowledgeable staff, the food, from appetizers to dessert, is a constant discovery of new flavors and sensations. Excellent.

The name made you think of home cooking, but it was anything but... The staff was very kind and helpful... Very good ingredients, but unfortunately the pumpkin pasta was practically raw, we were forced to have the dish taken back and remade...

Authentic Sicilian cuisine, slow food, and everything homemade. It's a family-run restaurant. The quality of the dishes is matched by the kindness of the welcome. Come and enjoy Sicilian hospitality and the excellence of typical Sicilian gastronomy. A very fine Sicilian wine list. For me, it's the best! It's one of the best typical restaurants I've seen in Sicily. I recommend it without hesitation. Mille grazie!

The food was so good. I just wish the portions were a little larger. They are plated beautifully. However, there are only a few bites per menu item. The staff was very friendly!

Consigliati da un amico, abbiamo deciso di provare questo locale nel centro di Messina. Nato dalla passione di due professionisti di altro settore, sono riusciti a mettere in piedi un ristorantino molto gradevole. Location semplice, personale molto cordiale e disponibile, così come il titolare che ha preso l'ordinazione, molto premuroso anche con nostro figlio che è stato loro ospite. Mi permetto di fare un piccolo appunto sulla mise en place, non amo le 'tovagleitte' rigide sottopiatto, per una questione di praticità. Detto questo passando alla cucina, il menù presente dei piatti interessanti, non complessi ma strutturati nella loro "semplicità" con accoppiamenti non azzardati. Noi abbiamo preso 2 antipasti, io un primo e mia moglie un secondo. Tutto buono, gradevole al palato e lineare nel gusto. Visto il grazioso locale, mi permetterei di consigliare una carta dei vini non con fogli plastificati...che mi sa più da locale turistico. Che dire...lo consiglio senza dubbio, sia per la qualità del cibo, sia per la cortesia e disponibilità del personale e del titolare. Sicuramente ci rivedremo.

Arrivati al locale siamo stati ben accolti e una volta fatti acomodare e presa la comanda è arrivato un entree offerto dalla casa bello da vedere e buono da mangiare, molto gradito. Abbiamo ordinato tutti l'antipasto, 2 primi e 2 secondi e il dolce. Piatti della tradizione ma serviti in chiave moderna. Le polpette della nonna me le hanno davvero ricordate. Primi e secondi buoni e ben serviti, dolci freschi ..... non classici e x finire la carta dei caffè. Complimenti
