An exceptional restaurant! Every dish was delicious and perfectly executed. The attentive and warm service really made the difference. I recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

Consigliati da un amico, abbiamo deciso di provare questo locale nel centro di Messina. Nato dalla passione di due professionisti di altro settore, sono riusciti a mettere in piedi un ristorantino molto gradevole. Location semplice, personale molto cordiale e disponibile, così come il titolare che ha preso l'ordinazione, molto premuroso anche con nostro figlio che è stato loro ospite. Mi permetto di fare un piccolo appunto sulla mise en place, non amo le 'tovagleitte' rigide sottopiatto, per una questione di praticità. Detto questo passando alla cucina, il menù presente dei piatti interessanti, non complessi ma strutturati nella loro "semplicità" con accoppiamenti non azzardati. Noi abbiamo preso 2 antipasti, io un primo e mia moglie un secondo. Tutto buono, gradevole al palato e lineare nel gusto. Visto il grazioso locale, mi permetterei di consigliare una carta dei vini non con fogli plastificati...che mi sa più da locale turistico. Che dire...lo consiglio senza dubbio, sia per la qualità del cibo, sia per la cortesia e disponibilità del personale e del titolare. Sicuramente ci rivedremo.

Wonderful staff. Mediocre food. Good wine. Good dessert. Found food very bland, not seasoned and generally didnt have the satisfaction of a good meal. Very small portions too.

Tutto molto buono, materia prima d’eccellenza.. servizio ottimo con spiegazione dettagliata dei piatti, ma nonostante ciò i prezzi sono un po’ alti.

08/06/2025: I discovered this place by chance and I was thrilled! They offer a wide selection of hot food products, all prepared with fresh and quality ingredients. But the real star is the arancino: crunchy on the outside, with a creamy and tasty filling that melts in your mouth. A perfect balance between tradition and authentic taste. Friendly service, clean environment and honest prices. I will definitely be back!
05/06/2025: When you think of Sicily you think of hospitality and good food, the kind without too many frills and authentic. As a lover of focaccia messinese, to be clear the one with anchovy, I can say that it is the best I have ever eaten. For vegetarians the norm is highly recommended...eating aubergines that are not as black as oil is now a utopia. Not to mention the galactic vegetable pitone. All this, which is already a lot, is surrounded by a welcoming and familiar environment. Compliments Merlino Rosticceria. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

30/06/2025: We visited this restaurant in Taormina, which is set in a truly beautiful location. We had pizza and it was excellent, with fresh ingredients and well-balanced flavors. The service was also excellent: the staff was always very polite and helpful, making the experience even more enjoyable. 30/06/2025: Sat outside, at the top of the stairs, overlooking the busy, main street below. Decorated with fairy lights amongst the trees, people often stopped to take a photo of the restaurant. Service was impeccable. We enjoyed chats with the owners and staff and the food…the food was delectable! Local ingredients, fresh, tasty, bellisimo! Worth every cent! (We made a reservation)
