I ordered Italian pasta, which was truly delicious, with a homemade sauce and perfectly cooked. You can tell they use quality ingredients and that everything is prepared with care. The service was excellent; the staff was very friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. The atmosphere is pleasant, with a warm, family feel that makes you feel at ease from the moment you arrive. I found the prices reasonable for the quality. Overall, a highly recommended place and I will definitely return.

I had a delightful lunch here! My wife & I are were in Messina briefly on a cruise, and we dropped by here. We had a wonderful meal with great, considerate service - not to mention the food! Everything we had was tasty, and the server even dropped off a few extra snacks for us to try. Would absolutely recommend to anyone with time for sit down lunch (emphasis on Slow Food instead of Fast Food) while in Messina!

A disappointing experience compared to a few years ago. The only redeeming feature was the superb raw fish appetizer; the rest was mediocre. When we ordered, we wanted to order dessert, but we weren't allowed because there wasn't a quantity issue. We later discovered that the dessert we wanted was sold out. We waited 50 minutes for anything to be brought to us. When we finished the small amount of bread they brought us, we had to get up and go ask for more because no one was checking on us (there were four of us sitting there with our phones in hand). Since the Eolie gelato was sold out, I opted for a schiumone, which turned out to be terrible. The wait was too long between courses. A final highlight: while I was typing in my credit card PIN, the lady at the cash register pointed out that I didn't need to put my hand in front of the buttons because she was behind the counter and couldn't see. I've never experienced anything like this before. It's a shame because we discovered this place a few years ago and were thrilled with both the food and the service.

A very nice restaurant in the center of Messina. Discreet and helpful staff. The small aperitif was very welcome. Excellent dishes, with just the right wait for freshly prepared food. I recommend it, and I hope to return to Messina and have lunch there again in the future.

An amazing find with top table eating and fantastic local ingredients combined to give a truly exceptional visit. Cannot recommend this highly enough!

The appetizers were okay, but the pasta dish was unfortunately tasteless and completely overpriced. Dessert was delicious!

Excellent reputation, terrible value. The spaghetti with clams is absolutely not up to par, lacking flavor and not al dente. The appetizers are good and the desserts excellent. Attentive service, the waiter is knowledgeable, humorous, and never out of place. Considering I didn't finish the first course, they could have at least offered coffee or at least a liqueur. What a shame.

Consigliati da un amico, abbiamo deciso di provare questo locale nel centro di Messina. Nato dalla passione di due professionisti di altro settore, sono riusciti a mettere in piedi un ristorantino molto gradevole. Location semplice, personale molto cordiale e disponibile, così come il titolare che ha preso l'ordinazione, molto premuroso anche con nostro figlio che è stato loro ospite. Mi permetto di fare un piccolo appunto sulla mise en place, non amo le 'tovagleitte' rigide sottopiatto, per una questione di praticità. Detto questo passando alla cucina, il menù presente dei piatti interessanti, non complessi ma strutturati nella loro "semplicità" con accoppiamenti non azzardati. Noi abbiamo preso 2 antipasti, io un primo e mia moglie un secondo. Tutto buono, gradevole al palato e lineare nel gusto. Visto il grazioso locale, mi permetterei di consigliare una carta dei vini non con fogli plastificati...che mi sa più da locale turistico. Che dire...lo consiglio senza dubbio, sia per la qualità del cibo, sia per la cortesia e disponibilità del personale e del titolare. Sicuramente ci rivedremo.
