I think the first time I had a pizza at Disco Volante was at least 40 years ago, today it suffers from new market trends and the volume of work at lunchtime, the pizza is good and well-made, thin, with a nice variety but the classic dishes are also worthy of note, in short it is a typical trattoria both in terms of location and of the historic waiters who are always kind and sociable, average prices.

We went to Disco Volante in Rome and I have to say it was a truly delightful experience. We stopped by during our pilgrimage to Rome for the 2025 Youth Jubilee, and the service from the people who served us was top-notch. We're very grateful. The pizza and pasta are delicious.

04/11/2025: Friendly staff, excellent service. The charcuterie board was perhaps the best I've eaten. Sandwiches from the dress deli stand out and are very tasty. Absolutely recommend for a dinner spot or a nice stop for a lunch as well
04/11/2025: My husband and I were out for a stroll in this wonderful city of Rome. We spotted this place while we were walking. We got the baked pork in bread, a sumptuous plate with masala, cheese, fruits and vegetables, and a bottle of white wine. It was delicious, I highly recommend it. Our bill was 50 euros.
