We had a wonderful time at the Dirty Rat. The service was exceptional; everyone was helpful, and we had a wonderful connection with everyone. The interior was very impressive, with beautiful designer lamps and lovely paintings. I spent a lot of time looking around. The dishes and desserts were consistently delicious, created and presented with surprising and distinctive flavors. The wine was the perfect finishing touch. I look back on our evening with a smile on my face. Thank you so much!

Lovely joint with both Tuscan and a few American/Mexican style dishes. The zucchini flowers were lovely and the pici as well. The staff spoke good English, compared to other establishments in the area.

We are outside on the pavement and had a great meal. The menu had a nice mixture for children and adults, with both Italian and international dishes. The service was good, as was the value.

28/09/2025: The Neapolitan pizza was very good and easy to digest. They were willing to make some adjustments to my wife's pizza, as she has an intolerance. The frittatina was also good, although I think it needed just a minute more cooking since it was a bit cold in the center, but this didn't affect the quality of the product. The service was very friendly and fast despite the restaurant being busy. The wine selection was also good (with a recommended pairing directly on the menu) and beer selection. The space was a bit cramped and noisy, but that's normal for a pizzeria, so it's fine. I recommend it to anyone in the Cortona/Camucia area who wants a good pizza at a reasonable price.
28/09/2025: All in all, their pizza is worth trying... we had a few service hiccups with long waits, but the owner immediately apologized and offered a discount on our next dinner! It seemed like a great compromise for the inconvenience, considering that unexpected things can happen!

13/09/2025: Highly recommend pici con tartufo and tiramisu. One of the best we tried in Italy. Definitely worth coming for lunch or dinner.
11/09/2025: Finding a restaurant in August is hard. Alot of favorites were closed for the holidays. And Alot of first choices were closed even of google say it’s open. A big problem because most restaurants in Italy doesn’t have there own website. This place was our 3rd choice. I was not so enthused because to me it’s seems a modern Italian restaurant. Modern in Italy is the same as fusion. To my surprise…the plating and presentation is modern, but the taste is very traditional. Love the Octopus, steak and Risotto. And they had delicious bread too. Service was excellent and the owner took a picture with our whole family. In the end to our surprise it was our best dinner of our trip.
