We booked this place by chance and had a great time, despite reading less than stellar reviews. The location, somewhat isolated, is charming because it's nestled in the hills surrounding Pietrasanta, offering breathtaking views, especially in the evening. The owners are very kind and helpful: they welcomed us with an aperitif and a mixed platter of cured meats, cheeses, and crostini. We then continued our dinner with fillet steak, mixed grill, and baked potatoes... all delicious.

Hotel "La Pania"

14/09/2025: We often stay here with our Bologna speleothem group, and we've become a regular here. The owners and all the staff are genuinely kind and helpful. We sleep wonderfully (so peaceful and so lovely to hear the Vezza River flowing beneath the windows) and enjoy food as if my grandmother had prepared it: tasty and prepared with care and love. The rib-eye steak on the bone: a real treat. Thank you for your hospitality.
26/08/2025: Wonderful pizza by the meter, a regular stop every year. The place is a bit noisy, but the outdoor tables are very nice. The service is a bit confusing, but Martina makes up for it... friendly, patient, and super helpful! A great escape from the heat of the sea.

15/09/2025: I have more than one doubt about the aperitif. I ordered a vodka martini, but they don't have olives. They also delivered a vodka martini rosso, which is nothing compared to the others. The vermouth should be dry (white) and not martini rosso. This is a serious mistake if you do aperitifs. The Posto al tramonto is fabulous, the restaurant is ok, and it was a fair price for being on a beach in Versilia. Unfortunately, the cocktails have fallen quite behind the times. If I may suggest, try to modernize.
