Dieta Mediterranea In Brescia

I update my review from a few years ago because I recently found a very different menu, definitely much more of a pizzeria and less of a restaurant. I come back to this place every now and then, not so much for the pizzas, which I still recommend because they are very good, but for the fish dishes which I always found rich and interesting. The last time I found a new menu that already visually gave a lot of space to the pizzas but very little to the rest, even if written in the center of the menu there is little choice compared to before (I remember enormous appetizers, delicious pastas for example with sea urchins, enormous portions, once I canceled the first course because already with their typical appetizer to share, two of us were satisfied!). In the end this time we had a sauté of mussels and clams to share (good and plentiful but also a little above average in price, €19), a mixed fry to share, water, 1/2 of house wine, dessert, €64. The service is kind, friendly and attentive as always, the food was good but... without that WoW effect of the past. Once upon a time I would have said: go there to eat fish, good, in abundance and at the right price... now I would recommend it especially for a delicious pizza, the rest is good but in line with many other pizzeria restaurants.

To my great pleasure I discovered it by chance, brought by friends. The environment is welcoming and rustic; you feel at ease, then transported by the extraordinary dialectic of the staff who, with precision and passion, illustrated the menu to us. Personally I enjoyed a fantastic pizza, full of quality ingredients and expertly presented. I will return without hesitation to enjoy other specialties and to still feel pampered in this little greedy universe close to home. Thank you for making any Thursday a delight for the palate, eyes and spirit!

The rustic furniture is well arranged. Not as bright as needed. The first courses are good, especially the risottos. The service at the tables is good and fast.

We had been waiting for a while to taste the dishes offered during GRANDMOTHER'S SUNDAY and we were thrilled: excellent quality, sublime taste, fast and attentive service and honest price. Furthermore, the portions were exactly those typical of grandma's lunch when she noticed that you ate little, she would fill your plate to the brim! We will be back for sure.
