Value for money number 1 on fish. Franco is a Top host. Be careful because you are not in a refined place but rather a convivial place where you eat well and spend little. Franco I will come back to see you soon

Ritornato dopo una decina di anni a Roma, sono andato a cena essendomi trovato bene. Non ho sbagliato, spaghetto alle vongole, paccheri scampi e zucchine, pasta fagioli e frutti di mare, fritto misto, tutto buono, conto onesto e locale accogliente, la simpatia del Signor Franco molto apprezzata.

Returning after about ten years in Rome, I went for dinner having found myself well. I was not wrong, spaghetti with clams, paccheri scampi and zucchini, pasta beans and seafood, mixed fried food, all good, honest bill and welcoming place, the friendliness of Mr. Franco much appreciated.

Here we are! A necessary premise must be made: you do not come to eat fish as if you were going to a refined five-star restaurant. Here you eat fish as if in a port tavern, with all the pros (costs, raw flavors and generous portions) and all the cons (presentations to be reviewed, less than excellent cleaning, basic service). Here you experience the people, live life. You eat well and spend the right amount.

Totally recommended! Highly recommended place, with truly knowledgeable and friendly staff. Incredibly fresh and really good food. Quick, fast and "friendly" service. Really pleasant experience! I recommend!!!

Sono tornato in questo ristorante storico dopo tanti anni e la qualità è rimasta altissima. Mauro è un prefetto padrone di casa e il personale è gentile e disponibile. Il pesce è sempre buono fresco e soprattutto in vista: astice, rombo, spigola, scampi, c’è tanta varietà di primi e secondi piatti, tutti molto buoni.

20/05/2025: I just returned from beautiful Roma yesterday. My first time staying at the Hotel Regina Bagilioni was excellent. For 30 years I have been staying across the street from the Regina at the Westin Excelsior and thought it was time to make a change. Same great location but with updated rooms so beautifully decorated and the staff, every single one of them were very professional and most importantly, happy to be there and happy to see their guests! It was a perfect experience and I will always stay at the Regina from now on. Thank you Hotel Regina for a memorable stay!
18/05/2025: Really, really nice hotel. More upscale than where I would typically stay, but "When in Rome...". Walked to the Trevi Fountain and Pantheon. Train station also walkable too as long as you are able (little further Trevi Fountain), but not much. Walked from St. Peter's Basilica to Colosseum, so you could walk from the hotel to Colosseum, again, if you are able.

11/06/2025: I LOVE IT! I ate very well. I had an Abruzzese pizza and a bruschetta with ventricina. The pizzas are Roman ones and they are also big. The atmosphere is nice, the service is excellent and the food is not spectacular, more! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
10/06/2025: Excellent restaurant. Large venue with the option of eating outside or inside in 2 rooms on 2 floors. All the food was exquisitely perfect, especially the Arrosticini with truffles. Fast and helpful service. Highly recommended
