Great location, great food and very friendly staff

A lovely restaurant at a high altitude, with a truly enviable view from the terrace in front. I personally tried the Troncs Burger, made with local ingredients, and I loved it. The fries were exceptional, the service was fast, and the prices were average.

Spectacular! Excellent food! Their jam with cheeses is exceptional! The staff is very friendly! The temperature is very pleasant even though it's sunny August, and the view is beautiful! Worth it! Going up from the valley floor, you can see the Matterhorn.

Purtroppo questa volta hanno toppato. Ho scelto questo ristorante perché lo reputo fra i migliori in zona e lo frequeto volentieri non solo per il buon cibo la anche per la gentilezza del servizio e la posizione. Il menù è prettamente valdostano. Fra i piatti tradizionali io scelgo sempre quelli basici ed in particolare la zuppa valtellinese che qui ho sempre trovato buona. Questa volta però sono rimasto deluso in quanto se pur gli ingredienti c'erano mancava completamente il brodo. Così la zuppa era un mappazzone asciutto, da mangiarsi con la forchetta e poco piacevole. Fatto presente al cameriere, mi riferiva dalla cucina che il problema era derivanto dal diverso pane utilizzato che avrebbe assorbito il brodo.....beh, non mi sembra una buona giustificazione e sarebbe bastato ritirarmi il piatto, aggiungere un po' di brodo caldo e tutto risolto. Così non è stato ed il sono rimasto con il mio deludente mappazzone. Fra le altre portate una tagliata non era granché....carne un pò dura; lo Spezzatino così così. Buone ed abbondanti le tagliatelle al ragù, buono il lardo sul tagliere. Abbiamo anche bevuto un buon vino locale consigliato dal gestore sommelier. Buono il servizio, prezzi nella media, peccato per quella zuppa. Spero di ritrovarla buona la prossima volta.

Pausa pranzo dopo le piste mattutine. Totale 4 adulti e 4 bambini che dire: ci ritorneremo sicuramente! Personale gentilissimo, prezzi più che onesti , cibo buono . Bravi! Finalmente un posto in cui si mangia bene, si spende il giusto e non ti pressano per mangiare…
