Great fish restaurant in the heart of Milan. Freshly cooked with the best ingredients.

My husband and I arrived in Milan after a long trip looking for a nice place for fine Milanese food for our first experience in the city. We found De Ros and loved it at first impression. We didn't have a reservation and they still found us a place on the second level from which you can see the entire restaurant, even the kitchen (something I like to see in every city and country I visit). After our order (a bottle of wine included) we were served the starter. And my husband and I began to talk about the fine Italian style of all the diners while they came out with what was already served upon our arrival. After more than half an hour, with the bottle of wine finished and a second round of customers having entered and been served, we decided to get up and leave without eating. I still don't understand what happened or why, I just know that we were absolutely ignored for more than half an hour I understand the place. I know they felt sorry when we decided to leave without eating, but I have never felt so poorly served in a place, or rather ignored. After the starters they never approached us. I don't want to think that our image of tired travelers and clothes that may not be appropriate for the place will cause them to judge us. I would have really liked to try the dishes they described in their menu, but I am used to a different type of service. I hope you take this experience into account and it doesn't happen to you again.

If you are looking for fine dining in a relaxed atmosphere in Milan, look no further. The food was great (the tuna carpaccio was exquisite) and the atmosphere was professional and attentive. We were happy to have a small talk with the owner who shared his story and his wife’s with us - it speaks volumes about the kind of the ambience in the place. If your table is on the 2nd floor you’ll get to watch the action in the kitchen - zero pressure, 4 cooks working in harmony with the owner giving hand from time to time.

Lobster pasta recommended! The lobster is very fresh, and the chewy paccheri, tomato sauce, and parsley are really delicious. The food was great, and I really appreciated the detailed consideration by asking if the seat was okay and checking while I was eating. The wine is delicious and I think I'll definitely come back to this place, which left a really good impression among restaurants in Milan!

Situado en el corazón de la ciudad, cerca de la principal zona comercial y turística. Muy bonita decoración moderna, pequeña y acogedora. El personal es muy amable y atento. Hacen todo lo posible para acomodar todos sus deseos 3 s incluso si el restaurante está muy ocupado. La comida era excelente. El carpaccio de atún fue sobresaliente, la pasta de langosta y el risotto con vieiras también muy buenos. También el postre, tiramisú era muy bueno. Muy buena carta de vinos, por desgracia una selección limitada de vinos por copa, pero todavía tenemos uno muy bueno para probar. Sin duda una muy buena experiencia, volveremos.

Sehr guter Service und sehr gute Lebensmittel. Die Gerichte waren aber leider fast geschmacksneutral, gegrillt ohne Gewürze, Gemüse teilweise noch roh und auch komplett ungewürzt. Der sehr zuvorkommende und bemühte Service führte dazu, das wir trotzdem einen sehr netten Abend hatten, wir das Restaurant aber aufgrund der doch hohen Preise von 35€ (Appetizer) bis 44€ (catch of the day), wir zahlten über 170€ für 2 Personen inkl. Wein, nicht empfehlen können.
