I'm writing this review after having been to this restaurant in Bressanone three or four times.
The setting, located in the historic center, is very beautiful and characteristic.
The dishes are generally very good.
What always leaves a bad taste in my mouth is the service.
Both in terms of the extremely long waiting times and the lack of attention to detail compared to the price.
If you're Italian, the waiting times are even longer...

We've been to the Traubenwirt several times now and have always been very satisfied. The spaghetti alla chitarra is a real go-to dish. But everything else is also very tasty. It's currently lamb week - the lamb meatballs with sweet potato mash and wild broccoli are truly delicious.
Service ranged from super entertaining to professionally efficient - but it was always good. Attentive and well-timed. The restaurant is usually very busy, not hectic, but also not a place where you want to spend hours having existential conversations. But all in all, it's really good.

My favorite restaurant in Brixen! The steak tartare, spaghetti alla chitarra, and tagliata are simply excellent – always perfectly prepared. Very friendly servers, a great atmosphere, and a fantastic wine selection. Whether you're with your partner, family, or dog – you always feel welcome. Centrally located and highly recommended!

Locale carino. Personale gentile. Cibo buono. Ho ordinato una cotoletta accompagnata da salsa di mirtilli rossi e patate, da bere una bottiglia d'acqua. La cotoletta non era unta, era asciutta e la salsa ai mirtilli si accoppiava benissimo. Ho gradito molto il pane accompagnato con olio e burro. Prezzi medio alti, nella media di Bressanone (ho pagato 30 euro circa). Consigliato

Sopravvalutato, e altamente costoso per la qualità. Il Benvenuto della casa consisteva in un quadratino di tramezzino al tonno con una foglia di insalata buttata lì, l’antipasto era una tartare di vitellone con del pane in cassetta solamente abbrustolito molto triste.
Gli impiattamenti lasciavano molto a desiderare, piatti mangiabili ma veramente niente di che.
