A midweek dinner for two. What can I say: excellent food, a magical and carefully curated location (at sunset). Exceptional service: attentive, delicate, with that touch of light humor that's always a pleasure!
The bill was perhaps a little high, but all things considered, it's reasonable. I'd happily go back!!

We had lunch at this restaurant on a Sunday and I must say it amazed us! All the dishes were very good and the combinations were unique; the presentation was exquisite. The octopus and cotechino were a tender but perfect appetizer, especially the pairing. The chamomile in the risotto was truly delightful, while the sliced steak and frog were tender and flavorful. In short, a restaurant that stands out.
The only criticism I feel I must make, also on behalf of the other diners, was the annoying noise from the girl at the cashier, which could be heard all the way above where we were eating.

I enjoyed a wonderful lunch at this restaurant, which immediately strikes you with its sophisticated design. The interior atmosphere is magical: the contrast between the dark ceiling, dotted with a thousand fairy lights like a starry sky, and the sculptural cloud-shaped lamps creates an intimate yet modern atmosphere.
🍽️ The Cuisine
The dishes were a real surprise, both for their aesthetics and the balance of flavors:
• The cauliflower appetizer: A surprising reinterpretation. The texture was perfect, enhanced by a bold roasting and accompanied by velvety creams that balanced the flavor.
• The sliced meat: Excellent quality raw materials, cooked to perfection and presented in an elegant, minimalist plating. The accompanying sauce added a gourmet touch without overpowering the flavor of the meat.
🏔️ Location and Service
The real added value is the breathtaking view. Eating while gazing at the horizon, stretching across the valleys to the snow-capped peaks of the Alps, makes for an unforgettable experience. Large windows bring nature right to your table.

A beautiful, clean, and elegant restaurant with a lovely view of the Ticino River. The staff were friendly, but the wait for food was a bit long. The food was good, portions were average, and prices were high, considering it's a restaurant with a chef in the kitchen. It's a shame they bring it to you lukewarm. We had a long wait for the bread (€3.50 cover charge). The chocolate cake was bland and dry. Otherwise, a good restaurant! Recommended.

A simply impeccable experience at La Piazzetta di Tornavento.
A refined location, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and a marvelous view that makes everything even more evocative. You can immediately sense the passion and attention to every detail.
The cuisine is top-notch: excellent ingredients, dishes prepared with skill and flair, balanced portions, and elegant presentation. Each course was an explosion of flavors, perfectly balanced.
The service was professional yet friendly, never intrusive. They make you feel at home, yet with the standards of a superior restaurant.
The wine list is well-researched and perfectly paired with the menu.
A place where you go not just to eat, but to enjoy an experience. I will definitely return and recommend it to anyone looking for a special evening. Congratulations!
