Very good Sicilian cuisine, plentiful. Wines by the glass too expensive (€8 for 10 cl).

Good food and appreciable service. Very caring and friendly staff.

This cute restaurant lives up to its name! Everything was truly delicious from the excellent food to the staff, attentive, thoughtful and with excellent knowledge of English. All local menu with original combinations without forgetting the Sicilian tradition, a slightly retro atmosphere, relaxing and chic without being too elegant, we will definitely return!!!

Update. A bottle of wine now costs €36, which is definitely too much. We didn't order any wine 🤷🏻‍♂️Food was great as always. We like to come here when we are in Catania. And what can I say... I've never been disappointed. Quality and taste are exactly like last years. Employees are always the same. That says something. Will definitely come back. Great value for money but drinks too expensive. I think it will become a tradition 😉

What can I say, everything is 5 stars from the welcoming location to the very kind staff to the dishes, all really good, appetizers, first courses, excellent quality and the courses are full. I will definitely return and recommend the restaurant.

L’interno del locale, tra i resti del teatro, è bellissimo, elegante e silenzioso! Il cibo è buono. Abbiamo prenotato però ad un orario ed il tavolo ci è stato dato mezz’ora dopo, in più il servizio è lento e siamo rimasti più di 2 ore seduti

We ate at Deliziosa 2 nights running as we loved the food so much. We were first recommended this restaurant by our bed and breakfast and I'm so glad we booked straight away. We had wonderful starters of Bruschetta (we loved them all, especially the Smoked salmon and the Norma) and then the first night I had the Etna pasta with swordfish and my partner had the Pistachio crumb Salmon. Both cooked perfectly. The second night I had the Crispy pork cheek and my partner had the chicken in Pistachio cream. The only advice about the latter is that the Pistachio cream is quite sweet so not for very savoury tastes. The service was paced and we weren't rushed, but the stand out service for us was from Alesya (I hope I spelled her name right) who was our sommelier for both evenings. Her recommendations for wine were fantastic, and affordable, and her palate was incredible. We loved all the wines she suggested and she was so passionate when she was telling us about the different grapes and houses etc. Alesya is a credit to the restaurant. Tip: Book in advance or you may have to queue for a table as it is so popular.
