Delfino In

We only had a fish main course (spigola alla griglia and spigola in cartoccio). Both were excellent: we took a capponata and patate fritte with it. Shabby inside though (the wooden floor should be replaced and also the furniture can get a layer of paint). Nevertheless: friendly service.

As always, I choose the place to have dinner first of all because of the location, I'm not interested in sophisticated restaurants, I prefer simple places that I get advice from local people and this time too I wasn't wrong. The Delfino restaurant is in a unique position with a covered terrace sheltered on stilts into the sea, with open windows that let in the scent of the sea. The choice of dishes, in addition to pizzas, is very rich especially on fish, so I let them advise me and try what for them is a super Misto Delfino fish starter with which to taste a bit of everything. Stewed mussels, stewed cuttlefish, octopus in salad, marinated anchovies, prawns in sauce, raw prawns... and more that I don't remember. But believe me, it has a quality and richness that is difficult to finish, especially if accompanied with a hot focaccia and some good white wine.

I returned after a few years, everything was as good as I remembered. Fish soup as usual "unique". Unfortunately I learned some bad news.

Very good pizza! In particular, I recommend it with shrimps, pistachios and onion, and black soup with seafood! The place could really use a refresh, but the atmosphere in the gazebo by the sea is amazing.

I think the fish pizza is among the best in the area. Excellent service and helpful staff. The external environment should be improved.

First evening in Pozzallo and a pleasant surprise found by chance, a slightly old place, we ate on the veranda, but we ate very very well!! Also good at service

Appena arrivati siamo stati accolti dal personale di sala, ci hanno dato la possibilità di scegliere tra la sala principale con ampie vetrate affacciate letteralmente sul mare, la veranda in legno anch’essa con vista sul mare e la piazzetta antistante. Abbiamo preso la pizza, ottimi gli ingredienti e nella giusta quantità, il tutto accompagnato da una spumeggiante birra alla spina. Il personale preciso e garbato è stato molto attento alle nostre esigenze. Tutto perfetto. Da rifare, magari con una cena completa
