Historic restaurant and pizzeria in Bagni di Lucca, run with passion by Ilario and his staff. It offers a menu of meat, fish and mushrooms from the area. The fillet with black truffle from the surrounding hills is excellent. Good value for money. In the evening, the wood-fired oven serves excellent pizzas to eat on site or take away. The wine list is interesting.

We ate here twice. The restaurant is located in a historic building. A restaurateur like you rarely find these days: polite, very attentive, and attentive to details – from the lobster cutlery to the cloth napkins. The dishes are freshly prepared by the owner's wife, very authentic, and delicious. The steak tartare is absolutely amazing; you must try it! The value for money is excellent!
Very nice restaurant, on the street, but with a table outside too. We ate tortelli and spaghetti with porcini mushrooms, everything was exceptional, even the dessert. Friendly and sociable owner, fast and attentive service, but simple and pleasant environment, highly recommended, also for the prices!💛

My family ate here on holiday years ago. They gave me one of the waiters' uniform shirts, which was too big for me as a kid, but I wear it all the time nowadays!
Historic venue that became a restaurant/café as early as 1860.
The beauty of the arches, columns, vaults and beams take you back in time.
The owner is a true host, kind and friendly and who carefully knows how to tell you the story of his restaurant.
Excellent cuisine with dishes prepared with care and attention.
The truffle, freshly grated, is exceptional.
We will definitely be back.

When I entered I didn't have a very positive impression but the food was really excellent and the prices were adequate. Also excellent for families with the children's menu. I recommend the tagliolini with truffles and the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms to everyone!
