Typical restaurant, very welcoming, excellent food, all homemade, from the tagliatelle, the tortelli with ragù, delicious desserts, tender and tasty meat, side dishes where the flavor of the garden vegetables dominates... Thanks for the good lunch even if we arrived late. EXCELLENT

We were there on Saturday, November 8, 2025, and we had the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, which were spectacular. Excellent service.

I'm sorry for some of the negative reviews. The place probably had staffing issues. My wife and I had a great time. Good food. Fast service. Rustic, traditional atmosphere. We had tagliatelle with white sausage ragù, tagliolini with truffle, and roasted potatoes. Everything was good, not a top-notch because it felt like it was reheated, but if you want to eat right away, you have to accept the compromise.

This restaurant is located in the center of Bagni di Lucca, in front of the theater. It's a lovely place, and the owner is friendly and attentive to the customer's every need. The food is good.

Interesting place. It seems frozen in time. The food was definitely good, even if it didn't wow me; for example, I would have avoided the little bit of cream in the mushroom starter. The price was fair.

Dined here last night (14/9/25) after being recommended by family. Lovely food, nice typical Italian decor throughout and nice to see Illario himself helping out on the front line. There was a live music event on adjacent which gave a good atmosphere although the table of older women in their 50s next to us were loud (this wasn't the restaurants fault though.)

17/03/2026: Good traditional restaurant. Loved the decor, like stepping into a 1915 inn. Open at lunch! Which I love :) Not too many items on the menu, but vegetarian options are present. My party had lamb, carpaccio, tortellini, bietola and chickpeas, all quite nice. Carpaccio was best, good quality. Prices are a bit on the high side. All in all, nice ambiance and attentive service (a careful young waitress was attending on us, but I must also say that the restaurant was almost empy, maybe because it was a tuesday at lunch).
04/03/2026: Yesterday I had lunch with friends at Tambellini, we had a great time, the food was delicious, as was the service, the staff and even the atmosphere, which was very well looked after down to the smallest details, you have to try it because it's worth it.
