The restaurant got a new chef and a new upgraded meny. Great food and service. Eat there three times on my last trip to Menaggio and the food was great, every time.

Luxurious restaurant next to the hotel. The ordered dishes were served quickly enough. While waiting for the meal, a very polite waiter brought warm bread and butter. A moment later, an appetizer - delicious, delicate smoked salmon 👍 the ordered ravioli, deliciously stuffed, in a delicate thin dough, properly seasoned. However, turbot served with fried chanterelles and mashed potatoes with butter is a culinary feast. It's hard to describe it in words. DELICIOUS! 👍

Ordered a second glass of wine to have with my main (I had only just finished my appetiser) and it came when I was almost finished eating. Asked to order me a cab as I had only a data sim and they wouldn’t accommodate me. The stress of being stranded, as I was staying in Bellagio, detracted from a good meal.

The best food we had in Menaggio. Hesitated to go first since it had a score below 4 but when checked the latest scores the are mostly very high so they must have improved and we were not disappointed. Excellent food, nicely presented with an amazing view. The waiter was very helpful in suggesting both food and wine pairing. The tagliatelle with venison ragú was fantastic. So was the risotto, leek with truffles and the tiramisu. The only negative is that it was a little on the expensive side but the experience was well worth it.

Very tasty food with a beautiful view. Filet Pur was fried as it should be. Highly recommended with friendly service.

The gamberi carpaccio was the best! My compliments to the Chef! 2 bottles of La Rifra, Lugana Riserva was not enough! Have to come back soon!

15/08/2024: Very nice place, kind staff, excellent service,.... in short, I recommend it, I spent the mid-August with you, we were a table of 6 and everyone was very satisfied, congratulations, you have your chefs, it was a dark mid-August,... yes, because I discovered you from an advertisement on fb..I wanted to try you,... taste I would say...my husband and I and our friends were pampered, everything was excellent, well done!!!! we are interested in tasting your grill.. .. when are you doing it?😋😁? I'd say see you soon

Al Salice

21/01/2025: Every time having lunch or dinner at Salice it is always a pleasure. All excellent accompanied by the kindness of the waiters and owners. Grandma's cake prepared by Donato is delicious. Highly recommended!!!
04/01/2025: We've wanted to go to this place for a long time!!!! Excellent pizza surprise, I think one of the best I've eaten, modern and well-kept place, super helpful and kind waiters and owner. It was a pleasure to have a chat about Totò ops Salvator D'ali'. Super recommended, we will definitely return. Well done
