I expected to see an old, unkempt restaurant, but the reality far exceeded expectations. The spirit of Italy really is felt here. Nice renovation. The service is slow, but the place was fully booked for lunch. The food is delicious and the prices are good. It's a pity that there are fewer and fewer such restaurants in the center of Milan, they are being replaced by tourist places and fast food.

This place's strong point is the typical Recco cheese focaccia, which is offered in several variations, which in my opinion somewhat distorts this excellent product. The menu is very generic, ranging from a few typical Ligurian dishes to Roman pinsa. The first courses we ordered were delicious and very well-seasoned, and the desserts, while not particularly original, were also quite good.
A cute place, friendly staff, and the food is decent but a bit impersonal, but the cheese focaccia is worth a visit.

Truly exceptional experience! The location is cute and clean, the staff is friendly and the food is to die for. Tried the typical “focaccia di Recco”, with cheese filling, and it was flavorful and savory. Followed with fresh pasta with real genovese pesto, garlicky and delicious. Prices adequate to high quality food. Book in advance because it was packed even during the Milan’s summer holidays.

I went to this restaurant for dinner for the first time. The food was excellent, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Their focaccia is a must-try; we'll definitely be back.

From the outside when you see the restaurant, you don't give a damn about it, but once you enter the restaurant it's a completely different world. Both the waiter and the hostess are very kind, friendly and professional and the food is fabulous, delicious and very fresh.
