Beautiful location and excellent food, then thanks to the room managers we are also able to correct the wine, pairing a local wine, definitely better than the proposal on the menu.

The food was excellent! I did feel rushed and the service was just mediocre. The atmosphere was quiet and reserved. When we visit again, probably won’t be a stop I make.

We returned after a year to repeat a memorable experience. The period was the same, we expected an encore. Something must have changed because even if the kindness of the staff and the warmth of the environment are the same, the dishes were definitely not up to the memories. Tagliolini (more mini fettuccine actually) with white truffle, served in a tavern portion, tasteless, poorly seasoned and obviously with a hint of truffle that disappeared compared to the quantity of pasta. A risotto with beetroot, blue cheese and black truffle with a flat taste (I can understand the misfortune of a poorly scented black truffle, but blue cheese?), a turbot with thorns included, the rest wasn't much better. To finish, a coffee that made you long for Nespresso pods. Excellent wine and bill - as we knew - salty. We just thought we were leaving saying “it was worth it”. And so another place to cross off the list of our favourites. Sin….

A wine bar in style, a refined environment with background music that makes it as unique as its dishes. The beef cheek was excellent in both flavor and presentation, the buffalo of excellent quality with very tasty ham. Excellent and friendly service.

Very nice atmosphere, perfect table arrangement for conversation without being disturbed. Extremely friendly service from all the staff, which made the experience even more pleasant. Truly excellent food and perfect choice of wines for all tastes and needs. Perfect price, extremely recommended also for the area, which is always suggestive in the evening.

Una magnifica enoteca. In più è un ristorante con una buona carta dei vini, anche se rappresenta solo una piccola parte della scelta dell'enoteca. Bel ambiente. Servizio un po lento. Avevo insistito per l'agnello poco cotto, e cosi fu, eccelente. Purtroppo, non avevano cotto le melanzane che, contrariamente alle zucchine, chiedono una cottura profonda, se no sono immangiabile e un po tossiche. Ci hanno offerto un delicioso vino da dessert, e volevano pure offrirci un digestivo. Conto molto raggionevole.

26/01/2025: I've been going to this place for 10 years. Value for money is unbeatable. The steak is wonderful... the only point of improvement I see is in the variety of first courses which could be wider.
18/12/2024: The environment is that of the old and beloved country trattoria, familiar and welcoming: simply with a more assorted menu. The food is fresh and genuine starting from the egg first courses handmade by Mrs. Bruna with the eggs of her hens. The pizzas are also excellent. The focaccia is amazing. Upon entering you will be captivated by the unique aroma of grilled meats that the owner Nello, who is always present in front of the fireplace, expertly cooks. Chicken, lamb, kebabs, sausages, steaks and loins which in my opinion are unmissable!!! Alone they justify the long journey which I have been tackling with pleasure for many years. I recommend pairing them with the seasonal vegetables that the kitchen offers every day together with fresh, hand-cut fried potatoes. The cellar offers a good choice of labels selected by the owner of the "La cultura del vino" wine shop in Albano. The room is managed very well by Simona, Nello's daughter and the backbone of the place. I am sure that even for just a moment you will feel like you are at home enjoying some specialties prepared with love by your grandmother! Excellent quality-price ratio. Highly recommended! (Better to book)
