Our last night of a long lovely holiday was to be here. And we were not disappointed. Very smiling and competent owner helped us to order. Tender and delicious meat, and when we wanted some extra greens, it arrived quickly.
Delicious dessert which we otherwise often think is given too little weight in other restaurants. So that was also a nice experience.
Such a wonderful dining experience in a really beautiful city. We can definitely highly recommend the place.

This is your place if you want down to earth, real Italian. No joke, this was the crown Jewel of good old fashion food in the Tuscany Region. It took me 4 days to find a restaurant that served Home made Coniglia,
( rabbit), one of my all time favorites. Florence restaurants rarely offer it, much to my chagrin and surprise. I’m of Portuguese descent and I grew up adoring a well prepared Coniglia.
This one was especially noteworthy for it’s tender meat, likely pan- fried with OO and adorned with Rosemary and perhaps a hint of Bay leaves. It was accompanied by a tasty dish of white beans that I sprinkled some additional OO, ( cant get enough of this staple Italian condiment), and parmesana. The combination brought proverbial tears to my eyes, as I ate and cried for more. 😩
My wife enjoyed here homemade Ravioli, she loved the pear that was incorporated into the ravioli, giving it a uniquely favorable taste.
Almost forgot. They succeeded in making a sometimes trite and admittedly boring appetizer jump off the table with bustling flavor and texture- the always dependable BRUSCHETTA.
Dessert was a delicious Apple Cake, washed down with.fresh decaf Capuccino.
Price: 65 EUROS !!!!!!!

#.1. Preview and choose your meal while you’re in your room- for two reasons, maybe three. Number one the Internet is poor , number two you may not have a waiter that speaks as good English as mine, and number three the menu is entirely in Italian- zero English.
#2 Expect quality, not overpriced and under portioned
#3 Bring cash, no cards
#4. Close your menu when you’re ready to order or they might ignore you for a while. Busy place
#5. Good people. I started off with a smile and a hand shake with the host, maybe owner
#6. If it’s two people, you’re gonna eat under 100 Euros. I was well under. I tipped 20 Euros… ten to the ultra hard working food and drink runner and 10 to the helpful waiter.
Conclusion: go there …. Value…. Taste, quality stand out…. Even Michelin agrees

It's a bit disappointing that only cash is accepted, but the staff is really friendly and the food is good.
We loved this restaurant, chosen almost by chance and immediately revealed itself to be a pearl in the heart of the historic center of Florence.
We opted for an entirely vegetarian menu with a fett'unta with beans and onions, an incredibly good tomato soup (we are very worried that it will be difficult to eat such a delicious one again), a mouth-watering ribollita and fabulous pici all'aglione, with a tomato sauce that is very reminiscent of family summers (and I assure you that I have eaten many excellent tomatoes in my life).
As a side dish, chard with oil and salt was almost touching, they were so fresh. To accompany it all, a very respectable house red and to finish, some chocolate cantuccini which made me think again about cantuccini, of which I have never been a big fan.
As if the food wasn't enough, the punctual and fast service, with a waiter who explained the recipes to us and gave us the best advice. Too bad I don't live in Florence, I would go back very often otherwise!

The food is delicious, the place is bursting at the seams. You have to wait a long time to place an order, but maybe there is some sense in it - sit, talk, relax. Because then all you need to do is loosen the belts.
Some music would be useful, old Italian hits like "Felicita" 4, etc.
And there's a buzz like in a beehive.

Fui almoçar com minha esposa, tomamos vinho da casa, ao qual estava excelente, comida ótima, única reclamação séria por conta de não aceitarem cartão mas eles avisam logo na entrada então não foi um surpresa

Tipica trattoria fiorentina. Personale gentile, posto carino, menù toscano, prezzi contenuti. Buoni gli antipasti, la trippa saporita e delicata e le penne strascicate "giuste". Da fiorentino posso dire...approvato!
