Del Fagioli In Firenze

I had dinner at this restaurant, but only after making a reservation. Even though I was alone, I'd tried several times, but without a reservation, it was always packed. This historic restaurant has two rooms: one with the bar and a few tables, and then a second, larger and more spacious room. The place is clean, as is the small bathroom. The artwork hanging on the walls is also beautiful, with a QR code to find out the artist and price. The staff is always friendly, even when they had to tell me there was no room. They even explained why the ribollita soup, which I'd so much wanted, was missing from the menu: it simply wasn't in season for some ingredients, like cavolo nero. On the other hand, it was tomato season, and therefore the delicious pappa al pomodoro they recommended. I would have had a second course instead of dessert, but after the meat, I was full. The fillet steak was cooked perfectly, rare but not cold all over. The Florentine steak at the adjacent tables was beautiful, but it would have been too much for me on its own. I highly recommend it! It's truly one of the few trattorias that doesn't have a touristy feel. I still recommend booking.

I had bookmarked this place thanks to Michelin guide for value for good Tuscan food. Have been, tasted and left super happy. Wonderful place with locals.

An excellent dinner, cuisine with ancient flavors, a memory of the past. Quality at the right price. I recommend it

Very good Italian restaurant right near the fireworks for Saint-Jean, delicious bistecca alla Fiorentina, very rare and grilled, small vegetable salad for fiber and to cool down a little. Very good tripe in tomato sauce even though I never eat it, that's to say the quality of the preparation! Gnocchi with pesto very well prepared and rather light. To wash it all down, some very cold beers and local Tuscan wine. For dessert, a DELICIOUS trio of torta de la nonna, just warmed up just right and with a very good consistency (including tiramisu, white chocolate). Attentive and pleasant service!

Really good food. Very nice spices and texture; I ordered both meatballs and tomato soup. Both superb. All of the dishes for my entire family were great! Such a pity we discovered this restaurant on our last day!

Tipica trattoria fiorentina. Personale gentile, posto carino, menù toscano, prezzi contenuti. Buoni gli antipasti, la trippa saporita e delicata e le penne strascicate "giuste". Da fiorentino posso dire...approvato!
