Everything was delicious, from the typical Calabrian appetizers to the generous and delicious first courses, but the Florentine steaks are top-notch. The staff was courteous and friendly; the location was very comfortable with ample parking. I highly recommend it.

We went for a hearty and tasty home-cooked lunch. We had a platter of various appetizers, a good first course, and then an excellent grilled meat, cooked to perfection. Service was a bit slow, but understandably so, considering the dining room was packed. They're very well-organized for celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, and special events. The restaurant is very large, with several smaller rooms. The location is good, easily accessible from the highway, although it seems a bit remote. This is a great choice if you're traveling with a large group.

"Fantastic place! If you're looking for authentic, old-fashioned flavors, this is the place to be. Generous portions, fresh ingredients, and a homey touch that makes you feel right at home. The staff is incredibly friendly and service is quick. Excellent value for money, which is not a given these days. I highly recommend everything from appetizers to homemade desserts. A well-deserved five stars!"

We were in Vibo Valentia for New Year's Eve and while looking for a place to have lunch, we happened upon La Degusteria. We had a house appetizer and a delicious first course! The staff and manager were very friendly and attentive; we had such a good time we returned for dinner. If we ever get back to that area, it's definitely a place we'd love to return to. Excellent value for money! I highly recommend it!

Beautiful venue with outdoor seating and ample parking! The interior is very spacious and offers various dining areas. Very elegant and refined, it's located in a quiet, easily accessible rural area. The menu is unique and offers tasty meat pairings and excellent first courses.

08/03/2026: This restaurant is a guarantee; I come here very often because they have various gluten-free options. They are very attentive to their customers and their needs. The price is fair for the quality of the food, around €50/60 per person including an appetizer, first course, dessert, and wine.
23/02/2026: Fantastic experience. The staff was incredibly courteous and welcoming, which I've noticed is the norm with all their customers. The place is beautiful and stylish, and pairs beautifully with the truly excellent food. The selection of appetizers was top-notch, and the second serving of cappellacci was truly delicious. I especially enjoyed the pumpkin ones, which were truly tasty. The price was fair for the location and the quality of the dishes. Highly recommended.

16/11/2025: Delicious traditional food, from appetizers to desserts. Highly recommended!
09/11/2025: We were here for lunch today at Trovatore. We organized a trip to Parma and contacted this restaurant. The menu was €30.00, including mixed cold cuts, an omelette, two first courses, water, and a sbrisolona. The portions were truly ridiculous: 5 ravioli per person and 4 small bowls of gnocchi for a table of 26 people. Dessert was served on three shared plates with a couple of bowls of mascarpone cream. Obviously, it wasn't enough for the whole table. But unfortunately, it was all gone. There wasn't any left... ridiculous... we told the owner, who pretended to apologize... but by then he'd pocketed the money and didn't even bother to offer us a coffee... disappointing. It's obvious we won't be returning, and above all, we won't speak highly of the place. I'm sorry because he lost out on a few more portions... shame.
