DEGUSTA In Avellino

We got a mix of meat, but were very disappointed with the lamb, which tasted like anything but lamb! For the rest, all very good. Unfortunately the bill seemed too salty compared to what we ate.

A now almost historic place in Avellino, known above all for its pizza but also for its quality in general. Located behind the central post office, it has a fairly large room, well furnished in a modern and rather minimalist style, with an open kitchen and a nice cold cuts and cheese counter. There are actually two menus, physically separate in the sense that when you sit at the table you are given two cards: one for the pizzas and one for the actual restaurant part. The pizzas are both classic traditional ones and some more gourmet ones based on typical products of the area. The restaurant menu offers various appetizers, mostly local first courses and mainly meat-based main courses. The quality is really very good, both in terms of products used and cooking; the service is very attentive and friendly and the choice of wines and various drinks is quite wide. Average prices. I would say that it is an absolutely must-try place in Avellino, also excellent if you have to bring someone for lunch or dinner.

We ate well The service is also attentive But for 3 people ordering a first course each and 2 second courses of chicken and 2 glasses of wine We paid 95 euros I didn't expect it to be honest, I find it excessive for a quick lunch

Poco distante dal Corso principale di Avellino, il Ristorante / Pizzeria DEGUSTA non ha soddisfatto del tutto le nostre aspettative. A nostro avviso, sebbene nel complesso la pizza ci è apparsa buona, i sapori degli ingredienti non hanno solleticato le nostre papille gustative. Rapporto qualità / prezzo nella media. Tutto sommato lo consigliamo.
