Dardo Rosso In Trieste

Pleasant discovery! Simple but well-kept place, we had a good tartare and lard with croutons as a starter, which was delicious, then a truly exceptional Florentine steak! Sides of homemade chips and spinach, house wine and a walnut tart. The possibility of bringing bottles of wine from home (corkage fee) is nice and original! Pleasant evening, fair bill, see you next time!

I was there for Christmas lunch, obviously there was a bit of a wait as the place was full, but I can say that it was still well organized and above all the food was excellent and cared for, from the appetizer to the dessert. I will definitely be back!

The place is simple but the cuisine, hospitality, service and food are extraordinary. Whenever I can I go to the Dardo Rosso. Over time I have tried the various appetizers, side dishes, various types of meat and desserts and it is always a guarantee. The lady at the reception and service is special and the meat is supreme.

Posto molto semplice nella periferia di Trieste ma con più di 20 anni di storia, il Dardo Rosso offre una cucina semplice ma deliziosa a base di carne, con ottima scelta delle materie prime. La proprietaria, gentilissima, super appassionata del suo lavoro e competente sulla preparazione e scelta delle materie prime, fa da perfetta padrona di casa a cornice dell'ottima proposta. Da provare e ritornarci sicuramente. Ah, rapporto qualità prezzo imbattibili!!!

We went for dinner with a couple of friends who already knew the place. The owner, very friendly and evidently passionate about her work and her place, was the perfect setting for a well-focused proposal with excellent quality raw materials. Furthermore, unbeatable value for money, much superior to most of the more famous or better located venues in the city. Definitely worth trying again!

We have been frequenting this place for several years, also recommending it to friends and relatives and no one has ever been disappointed. After all, here you can enjoy excellent meat. In particular fillets and ribs, of excellent quality and expertly prepared. Not to forget the excellent starters (absolutely try lard and Black Angus sirloin). Service always friendly and attentive. All with a more than excellent value for money.
