The food was amazing! The service was top-notch. I walked in without a reservation and they still found me a table. My waitress had a really cool vibe. This Roman place is a must-try!

Matriciana delicious, it's been a long time since I ate something of this quality. Excellent meatballs. Super sweet! The environment is not the best, confusing inside and tables outside on a slightly crooked pavement. But with food this good you can ignore it!

All the dishes we received were very delicious. The waiter's service is very good. Even though we didn't speak Italian or know much about cooking, they kindly explained each dish to us and we were able to order what we wanted. The beef stew called Picchiapò was amazing. Two people without reservations visited on a weekday around 8 o'clock and were able to sit down safely, but all the seats were quickly occupied. It seems that there are group reservations, so reservations may be necessary. If I have a chance, I would like to visit there again and try the dishes I wasn't able to try this time.

17/02/2025: So, I wrote this review 1 1/2 years ago. Seems good things don’t change came back and went again just as good if not better. The wait staff is very friendly, wine is superb. Overall great experience. M Great place to go to if you want authentic Roman food. I asked our concierge to send me to someplace he'd go to and this is where we went. It's not fancy but the food is very good - prices are reasonable. Our waiter showed us pictures of himself with Sylvester Stallone who had been there recently with his family as well as Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen. I guess if it's good enough for them it's good enough for me considering they can eat anywhere they like.
16/02/2025: Osteria Romana, traditional dishes accompanied by excellent fish and traditional cuisine. Super recommended

02/02/2025: We just happened upon Montarozzo 8 years ago on an Appian walkabout and it blew us away. Back in country we had to do it again and it was simply awesome and so authentic. Love the place!!
20/01/2025: Very nice place, excellent food, excellent service, the waiters were all kind, polite and professional.
