Always always a guarantee.
The first courses are unrivaled not in Pigneto, in all of Rome. Meatballs with yogurt sauce are essential, ceciata, vignaiola, picchiapó... all delicious. If I have a guest passing through Rome I always take him to them.
The waitress with the braids (whose name I don't remember) is my favorite but in general everyone is polite.

Wonderful service and nice atmosphere. But the food(main dishes) was a disappointment.
We took the fava beans dish as a starter which was delicious.
Then we took carbonara and the sliced beef with ruccola . Both were so bad that we barely could eat few bites and left the rest. It felt like the starter and the main were made by completely different restaurants. The house wine was very light and not special at all.

When the owners came to my laboratory they said they made the best carbonara in Rome..."here are two more" I thought, then I went to eat there...I ate the best carbonara in Rome, excellent in every aspect, today any occasion is good to eat there, then, Alessandro and Luca, in addition to being very nice have a great preparation in the field, they answer exhaustively to any question about the dishes and the individual ingredients. Correct and deserved the win at Quattro Ristoranti.

My husband and I had dinner last night at this restaurant. We had a great time and absolutely recommend a visit if you are in Pigneto. The cuisine is traditional Roman but with some truly apt reinterpretations, the service is friendly and approachable, the prices are typical of a trattoria, despite the attention to really excellent quality raw materials, we had such a good time that we also booked for lunch on Tuesday. Really good.
