A quaint tavern in an old-fashioned neighborhood. The atmosphere is pleasant and the service is quick. The food is excellent, especially the carbonara. The only drawbacks are the cramped seating and the location of the restrooms. It was pleasant, though.

We loved this place! We ordered pasta and it was delicious, the prices are good, and the service was friendly. You can tell it's a place frequented by locals, which is always a good sign. Grazie!

A typical Roman restaurant.
Good food, good service; two observations: we waited a bit (too long) for our order. The potato cake was a bit cold inside. Overall, a good experience.

The bonuses from the website (you can see its name on the photo) honestly made my day — I decided to go out for a nice meal. The pasta turned out surprisingly tasty, generous portion, very home-style. Didn’t spend much, but got a lot of pleasure out of it.

Arrived at 1:30 PM and served at 3:00 PM. Very crowded, lots of shouting, but the Amatriciana was amazing! The carbonara was delicious too... nice service!

A fine gastronomic address serving popular cuisine, this one on Via Macerata, nestled between the chaotic Piazzale Prenestino, a veritable tangle of tram tracks, streets, and elevated walkways, and the quieter and more sedate, at least at lunchtime, Via del Pigneto.
The careful and meticulous selection of organic ingredients, declared as such both in the business name "osteria casareccia e biologico" (homemade and organic osteria) and in the menu posted on the wall, attracted the attention of five young people, who wanted to try traditional dishes, with the addition of a dish closer to the Apulian/Matera tradition: the cream of fava beans and chicory.
The osteria consists of a single, comfortable room, well-decorated on the walls.
The outcome was largely positive; the menu offered few dishes, but they were good.
The Chianina meatballs and the tart went down without a hitch.
The mezze maniche alla gricia offered no resistance. Even the farro linguine with garlic, oil, and chili pepper, arugula pesto, and sun-dried tomatoes attempted a timid response, quickly subdued by a forceful fork.
For main courses, we opted for the picchiapo' stew and the strips with arugula, both decidedly superb, and the creamy fava bean and chicory soup, very good, the only reservation being that the chicory seemed too small to fill the spoonfuls of soup.
The desserts were delicious. The organic house wine, both red and white, helped us enjoy all the dishes. The service was efficient, friendly, and courteous. The price was fair. We definitely want to return.

I give 5 stars for the welcome, the helpfulness, the smiles, the Chianina meatballs and the burrata on the crostone, which were so good they could resurrect the dead 😄😍 The lager is also very good 🍺 but unfortunately it should be served in a straight mug and not a narrow glass because the beer needs to evaporate to savor the aromas during the tasting, by the way, a very good beer! Very pleasant outdoor space. Maybe we'll see each other again 😊👋🏻 prices are a little high
