Returned after years, excellent service and excellent food, reasonable prices.

A simple trattoria in the African Quarter, with indoor and outdoor tables. The table setting is minimal but appropriate (the change of cutlery after each course is a plus, which isn't typical for everyone). The young staff is very courteous, helpful, and welcoming, as is the manager, who puts guests at ease. The menu includes Roman dishes, and new daily specials are posted monthly on the blackboard. The dishes are tasty and well-portioned. The manager, very polite and open to discussion, acknowledged my complaint about the cacio e pepe being served lukewarm because the cold dish made the pasta less creamy. Acknowledging my complaint, he removed the cacio e pepe from the bill. The dishes are well-cooked and flavorful, and the prices are reasonable. I will return, especially for the overall service. Parking is also easy in the areas surrounding the restaurant. RECOMMENDED

I've known the restaurant since 2013, the year they first began, and it was already clear that they were off to a good start in terms of skill, expertise, and professionalism. After 12 years, I've rediscovered the same desire to do things well and to serve customers with the utmost kindness and courtesy. The cuisine is excellent; every dish is a masterpiece of craftsmanship and expertise, and the choice of ingredients is always impeccable. I'm pleased to have given a positive review then, and I'm pleased to still do so today, 12 years later. Well done, guys, you deserve every compliment you can get.

Whether you're in Rome or just passing through, you can't miss this restaurant's dishes! Beyond the welcoming atmosphere and the undoubtedly humorous and friendly, yet never intrusive, staff, "Nasone"'s menu is truly one of a kind, satisfying both classic and more sophisticated tastes, and always with top-quality, DELICIOUS dishes. Highly recommended, I'll be back often.

Typical Roman tavern where you can eat very well, with prices that aren't those of a tavern.

This place was a great discovery. We went for dinner with friends and I have to say we had a really good meal. For appetizers, we had the classic supplì and the delicious cacio e pepe meatballs! For main courses, we had all the traditional Roman pasta dishes, and I have to say they were very good, including the unique and delicious "nasone" pasta. The desserts were also very popular. The staff was super friendly. We will definitely be back.
