A really Roman, super cozy, typically Italian restaurant with a small, fine courtyard. In addition to all the tourist hustle and bustle, the food and the atmosphere gave us the feeling of being in Italy again. The food was very tasty and we were greeted and served very friendly. Just wonderful!!!! Many many thanks!

4 of us had lunch as a family one day in August. Very good service. Much calmer than we thought. The price of food is a little cheaper than in Catalonia. Drink like beer is expensive. If you are in Trastevere it is a good place.

My wife and I went here on the last night of our honeymoon. We just came across it while walking. The food was spectacular. The best we had in Italy. The prices were also incredible. After 2 weeks in Italy we had felt taken advantage of several times (it happens to tourists) and this place felt like we were taking advantage of them. We never paid 9 euros for 1L of wine anywhere else on our trip.

Very nice and convenient site in relation to quality-price, the gnocchi, carbonara and ricotta cake are delicious, but the best thing is the waiters, in particular Mirco: professional, respectful and a great football fan! We will be back 💖

Nice and cosy restaurant 5m walking from Piazza di Santa Maria in Trastevere but away from the noisy touristic streets. Good home cooking food,good service very nice and calm ambience. The interior of the restaurant is colourfully decorated but we preferred to stay outside under the porch and the garland lights. Good value for money

Cena con colleghi di lavoro. Piatti della tradizione romana (con qualche inserimento di pietanze di altre Regioni) molto curati e realizzati con ingredienti di prima qualità. Particolarmente apprezzati la carbonara, la Gricia, il baccalà e le polpette cacio e ova (di origine abruzzese). Buona la carta dei vini..Personale di sala molto cortese e disponibile. Esperienza positiva e sicuramente da ripetere.

Comodo da raggiungere, cibo divino (veramente squisito), vino della casa che va giù che è un piacere, atmosfera gradevole, attenzione a dettagli e pulizia, prezzo onestissimo, staff preciso ed educato, proprietario gentile e accomodante. Frequentato soprattutto da romani (il che è confortante perché NON fa del posto un locale per turisti da spennare). Abbiamo preso in due 3 piatti di pasta (cacio e pepe, gricia e carbonara) perché era tutto delizioso. Una perla. Grazie e se torniamo a Roma sappiamo dove andare.

Trattoria Vecchia Roma

14/08/2024: It's beautiful, Cacio e Pepe a la wheel and spectacular. The place is very clean, the pasta on the street is spectacular. Place is really nice, you feel like traveling back in to the glory days of Italy, Cacio e Pepe made in the wheel of cheese is spectacular.
14/08/2024: We went at night and barely found a free table. We ate mussels in tomato sauce. A very large and very delicious portion, even to dip in its sauce. We also ordered focaccia Bianca (a basic pizza without tomato sauce, very simple, but good) and a salad. Plus water. The cost was €35, and we ate very well, especially considering the area. The service was good.
